sorry newbie question here... is there a "cheat sheet" of some sort online that explains all these various codes/what they mean? i'm finding it a little hard to comb through all these posts! TIA.
 
Called AT&T, asked for U200 to be added. The rep said, let me check that code and your account. Was told that that code wasn't valid for my account... but he said he could add Y200, which offers the same benefit of 200 bonus minutes. Just checked my account online, and it says "/200BONUSMINUTES" under the added features section. Great.

But then I checked my usage, and it's still says xx minutes used out of 450 mins. Shouldn't it say out of 650 mins (ie. 450 + the 200 bonus)? isn't the 200 bonus minutes for anytime minutes? Now i'm a little confused... did I get the bonus mins or not?!

That's funny because the guy that I just called kind of laughed when I said "Y200" and he was like "you mean U200?" I said "sure". u200 should add 200 minutes to your remaining balance. there must be something wrong if your balance still indicates 450.

also, y200 and u200 are for two different markets. depending on where you live. but I know people who have both stacked to get a total of 400 minutes.

cool how he was able to add y200. the rep who added u200 and cll2 for me said y200 shows expired, so she could not add it. congrats.

It also depends on what market your in.

One combines it with your anytime minutes display and the other CARE (the one I am in) shows it separately.

Regardless your anytime minutes will come out of the bonus feature from NOW on and then begin depleting out of your any time bucket.

The feature is not retroactive meaning what you used already for the month will not be deducted from the bonus minutes.

My current usage still shows a 450 plan as well. However, if you check out your call details you'll notice that many of the prime time calls you use are not being added to your usage. Essentially this means that the bonus minutes are being used before your actual plan's minutes are. So yeah, you're getting them, it's just not showing up on top of your plan.

mine was immediate. but if what diode had to say is true, then you should have nothing to worry about...besides the code falling off after your billing cycle. apparently, people's codes have been removed after their bills were generated. it's a pain in the arse to get them back on.
 
called 3x, no go for me on TMS4

i called and spoke to them 3 times. one said it expired 2 mo ago. one said you have to have the designated text on iphone. the last said it don't see it in system. wtf! i have fan through university and currently no text.

anybody have better luck than me?
 
Be careful with stacking nowadays!!

Reps are being told not to add any codes and if you get one code added there is a chance more and more everyday that if you ask for another they will see the first one and remove it all together and notate the account so only add the codes you truly need and don't get greedy.

It is said a lot of you have FAN discount you can have these codes that's is NOT TURE!!

The system will add these to FAN accounts but non of use are allowed to have them. These are all expired codes that can be added in the riught senario and that is why reps have been informed to stop adding codes and remove them unless there are notes other than customer called in to add code.

If you get one added be happy and be very careful is my only advice. I get PVTs on here and HW and SD from people telling me they got there codes taken off either by a system sweep or by a rep or supervisor. Reps are also been fired for adding codes. There was a rep in a call center last week who got fired for adding U200 to 2 accounts.

Lets be nice and not risk anyones job by trying to force them is they say no and BTW this is dieing more and more everyday so instead of making it a game and stacking codes all over the place try to let as many people get at least 1 code on as possible before it dies. This is a great deal so lets try to be nice to all on here and the other forums like SD and HW and FW.

The wiki is there and if you want to know what working and not PVT me and I know. I have posted it dozens of time so only by PVT but there are alot of rumors going around that codes work when they dont and are even out of the system and you dont wanna risk a note when you could know before it wont work.

Ill tell you now there are no working Unlmited SMS codes out there for either market regardless of what anyone says or posts.

There is also no unlimited N/w at 7pm for free or for $0.99 out there for either market that is able to be added so dont try,

The only bonus text is CLL2 and has to be added to a college or univ fan and if its not it will be added but will drop at the bill cycle in 95% of the cases.

Texting discounts that work are TMS3 for 250 SMS for $3.99 and TMS4 for 1500 SMS for $8.99.

Bonus Minutes:

Yes U200 is good to add but YMMV. 75% of reps will not add it out of fear of there job... Y200 is the same and is CARE market. Some can be added but only in rare cases.

CMG5 is said to give 50 minutes and can be added but does not work!!! It will go on but does not give any minutes. Its a waste of time...

Again PVT if you have a specific code you want to ask about.

To explain a little futher there falling off since the code is not compatable with the FAN. ... Most often its CLL2 dropping but can be any. If it falls and you add again it will fall again. Better to count your blessings and more on...

Not to be a jerk about it, but if I call to add a code that I am not allowed to have and the rep adds it anyway, THEY are the ones endangering their jobs - not me.

At my job if someone asks me to do something I am not allowed to do, I tell them no. If I am not sure, I ask. That is my responsibility.
 
Not to be ajerk about it back but you miss the point....

Many people on this thread and other ones like SD, FW, HW are getting reps and when they say no are not accepting and just trying again later they argue, say yes it valid, yes it can be added and push push push thats when it goes to far. Hang up try again you will get a rep to do it.... Yes they add it that's there fault but if someone is argumentative that's also the callers fault. Come on common sense Emaja, we know some codes work and just try again that's the point. I know how to get the codes added so please if your not acting like this then im not referring to you in any way shape or form but now I don't know since you took offense to a general statement. Moving on.........

If anyone else needs help PVT me and Ill get to it tonight. Those that bash what I say please notice that people I help get the dang codes added LOL.....Its not rocket science but there is a way to do it and if you get greety you can loose everything...

There are normal reps I know at my ATT store and needed to get a new ATT DSL modem. We were talking about my plan as he knew about it and je told me that someone her knew in a call center name Jason I cant give a last name was let go for adding U200 to 2 different account after a memo went out. Thats why I said adding is fine just if they balk dont be mean and push just call back LOL.... Well im off work ill be back round 7pm ish give or taje maybe earlier...... TATA..
