AT&T Feature Codes and Free Bonus Feature Codes Including TMS4 1500 SMS for $8.99

I'm on a school fan and I just told the rep that I would like to add a feature code to my account. He asked me where I got the code and I told him at my University. He then confirmed the code and applied it to my account. That was my second try.

The first guy I spoke with told me it was impossible to add codes to accounts. He said he'd been working there for 2 years and he has never heard of that. So I just hung up and tried again.

With iPhone 3.0 coming up, rumour has it MMS will be billed differently than SMS.

With this in mind, anyone have a look at the codes for FAN accounts to see what would work the best? TMS4 and TMB9 may not work well with this. I've only taken a cursory look at what's over at HoFo, but unless someone finds something better, TMI-6 actually looks like a better deal (at least for me; I'm coming no where near using 1500 SMS/month!).

Anyone have a look at anything yet?

TMB9 worked ..i told my brother who is the main account holder under the family plan about it..and it worked for our FAN account for his line..and mine..we both have iphones

i hope those moneystealers will include some sort of basic MMS package that is free of charge.

Doesn't B2B include standard SMS as well as MMS already?
Why still look for a different code?

Good question.

TMS4 is 1500 B2B SMS. Says nothing about MMS being included. In fact, none of the TMA, TMB, or TMS codes say anything about MMS. That's why without clarification, and if it does get billed differently we may need a different code for MMS.

Has anyone gotten AT&T to add TMS3 lately (250txt for $3.99)? I just tried and the lady did actually try to do it and it didn't work. She put me on hold and asked some of her coworkers and none of them knew how to do it. I'm wondering if it works anymore or if just TMB9 is working now? She also had no idea how to add any of the bonus minute codes. This is super frustrating, especially as a 10 year customer who used to have 550 bonus minutes with my old AT&T account.

I did, however, get them to add 250 rollover minutes to my account based on the fact that I previously wasn't credited them on my first partial month of service. Bill said I used 125 of 375 prorated minutes for the portion of the month my new iPhone plan applied, and my "minutes added to rollover" said 0. I suspect AT&T screws everyone on this.
 
Does anyone know if the SMS codes are stackable? My university gave me CLL4 (400 free SMS) and I end up using about 800 messages a month. I'd like to have both CLL4 and TMB9 for a total of 1150 messages a month for $7.50, but I don't know if CLL4 would have to be removed for TMB9 to be added...

The CLL2 (200 college free SMS) and TMB9 stacks on my account, so it will probably apply to yours hopefully considering you have a "CLL"4
 
CLL2 keeps getting removed from my account. I keep calling back and they usually add it back on until recently when they rejected it. My university has a FAN account, but I guess I can't use that code according to the CSR.

That's the most frustrating part. Each rep will give you a different story. I had at least three reps tell me TMS9 was expired and there was NO WAY it could be added before the last one put it on no questions asked.

Just gotta keep on keeping on.

I guess I went about it the wrong way, I usually pressed 5 to talk about BUYing features, I should pressed 0 then 2 to get HELP with features

Took three minutes, so awesome

EDIT: AND U200! yay!
 
Tried again couple days ago. Thought the lady was going to add CLL4, which I had never tried. Told me should coulden't even find the code in the system. I had her try CLL2, which I have had added multiple times. 20 minutes later she told me it looked like it was going to work until the very end when it would not accept it. Looks like there is some type of block setup now.
 
Wow, glad I found this thread. I can be a premier member through my university and get discounts on plans. Where are you guys finding these codes though for text messaging?

U-verse?

Does anyone have a feature code for unlimited texting for the whole family? Just a discount would be fine. I found one, but it doesn't help. It still charges $30/month, which is what I pay now.

You could do TMS4? I think it is, 1500 for 8.99 on each line of your family plan

It's the best option if you just have two lines, not the best if you have three or more

U-verse is a TV and Internet service by At&t that has a package called U200 that has 200 channels so I thought you meant that. But is there a code for unlimited texting family code?
 
I just tried to add TMB9. Called 611 from the phone. They had to transfer me to Premier. She put me on hold, talked to her supervisor and came back and said the don't do double discounts. She also said it was not in my companies agreement with at&t.
 
I have a government discounted family plan account with 2 iphones. Is there a code i could use to get more texts for less? currently I pay $5 for 200 texts on each phone. I am confused with all the school codes etc. thanks.

I was once an employee of AT&T and no matter what you do or what type of work around you cant have any "FAN's" or discount codes for the iphone. The system is automatically set to deactivate any discount on the iphone's line account.

I had to change my discount code to another activated line to make sure I got my 45% off the entire bill..:D

So how do you explain EVERYONE in this thread with and iPhone that has a FAN applied and are using all these codes?

You sound like you were trained incorrectly.

eh, we've seen the company list for discount %, so I doubt the 45%, I heard ATT got around 20% and coke was the highest at 28%

Just called 1-888-444-4410 and I had TMS4 removed and added TMB9. At first i called 611 but they wouldnt do it.

+1 TMB9
 
So I'm guessing these offers are only good if your call AT&T's premire customer service line?

Does anyone still know if code TMS4 is still valid? Either way, I'll probably call tonight, and see if they can do anything since I get a discount through my work.
