Has anyone gotten their early upgrade fee waived? If so, how? I called and they would waive my activation fee but said they wont refund the $249 cause thats part of the equipment fee and dictated by apple. Looking for a creative way to get this credited back as a credit to my att account perhaps. thanks.
I think sometimes, saying "less is more". if you have a chat rep who doesn't immediately give in, why go thru that hassle and guilt try they try and impose? simply close chat and try with the next agent.

As a FAN account holder, upgrade fee of $36 should not be charged.

No this doesn't apply to all FAN accounts, my FAN doesn't wave the upgrade fee.
