Can only order one.

I originally ordered both the 8GB and 16GB. AT&T has gotten smart. They cancelled the second order. I have tried using different email, credit card, wife's credit card, phone number. They all get cancelled. Had to have my family order extra ones for me and ship to them under their name. Wanted one for my Sister, Wife and Me to hold me over until the 3G is out.

I pulled the trigger to early and sold the 8Gb on ebay to make sure I didn't take a hit on the sales price. Broke even on the first iPhone, when I go to sell this refurb, I should hopefully break even again.

You should be able to call ATT and cancel the first one and get the 16GB one

I just hoped on the AT&T network and copped me and the wife Red BB Curves, but this deal for an iPhone really has me thinking.

Last time I ordered an 8GB for my partner and then decided it was better not to keep it because of the pending new model and sold it on Craigslist after the refurbs were sold out for $75 more. This time I ordered a 16GB...probably will end up on Craigslist again, but I could use another $75 toward a 3G iPhone shortly. :)

cool yeah saw this earlier. I'm very tempted to get one. Will wait for new one, though.

I agree.

And while I could always sell it and make a few bucks, who knows when the 3G announcment will come, and how much they will sell those for.

Why not return it? Even if there's a restocking fee it's still substantially cheaper to buy a refurb.

Meh, could be a hassle. Plus what if this new one had screen/headphone/ or other defects? I did unlock mine.

I will think about it though, but odds are against it.

I just purchased the 8GB iPhone at full price earlier this week. I just placed an order for the refurbished unit a couple minutes ago.. I'm a huge refurbished advocate, most of my Apple products are refurbished and I've had great experience with them all.

as tempting as it is, it'd probably be better to wait out for 3G. Just bought my iPhone in March and buyers remorse is def kicking in lol....

I think I'm going to pick one up, rather than waiting, its a really good price. I'm on T-mobile, so I don't think the 3G will do me much good.

Just grab a refurbed one and throw the other one on ebay. That's wha I'm doing. I'm not doing it to make a quick buck, just to break even.

well hell. i broke down and bought a 16gb one. not that i have any need for it, the 8gb is plenty of storage space for the phone, but why not. figured i should be able to sell the 8gb model for $350 if not more. the 16gb will hopefully hold it's value a bit better after the 3g model comes out too.

Yes! I have been waiting a while on these. I was waiting on 2.0, but seeing as it wont be coming out before I need it anyways, and the fact that these refurbs are a lot cheaper worked out nicely! Normally, how long does shipping take on these? Also, do I have to type any AT&T account information in when ordering this? Just wondering, because I am adding this to my family's plan and am ordering tomorrow so I do not want to be last minute.

I just want to say, I used this deal months ago online when they first were offered. The unit and accessories I recieved were FLAWLESS, just perfect. I have had zero issues with the phone, and for $250 for the 8gb, I had to bite as the deal was great!

Anyone questioning this purchase, I say go for it, you won't be mad at all!

Same here, although I'm kinda AARRGGGHHH that they have 16GB models now. But I'm not gonna take a $250 risk on selling my old phone on eBay as the new models are about to come out.

When I ordered it today, they said two day shipping.

As part of the ordering process, there is an option to add it to an existing account (via logging on to your ATT account page).

They ship unactivated, so you can probably do it after you get it as well, but that's entirely uneducated speculation.:)

I just picked up an 8 giger... hope I'm not a dummy:eek:

You and me together ;)

Silicon.com just posted an article on the shortage of iphones and the speculation that we are running up to the 3G. But, I figure you can wait and wait and wait and never get anything, or jump on in...

When I got one from AT&T the previous time around, it was exactly as people have described getting one from Apple. I wasn't required to select a plan on the AT&T website. But it indeed came unactivated with an AT&T SIM in it, for you to plug it into a computer with iTunes and activate it. I unlocked it and have had no additional interaction with AT&T.
