AT&T and Costco members, don't forget about the $100 gift card offer, it's like getting your sales tax back or one nice groceries shopping trip back (plus free activation). I was still about to get my iPhone 15 Pro Max (Blue, 512GB) for release day delievery.
I think this deal is only at certain Costco locations? Let me know if im wrong.

I don't see anything about specific locations, but I did do it at a AT&T booth at my local Costco.

Also just received an email from FedEx about my iPhone being shipped and should be delivered on Friday! I ordered the 128gb Blue Titanium iPhone 15 Pro, FYI. On the AT&T status page, it originally said Estimated Ship on 9/21 before updating today.

My At&t page still hasn't updated yet still says estimated ship 9/21 but I do have a tracking number from FedEx.

You have to really look at this one. The tipoff is how good of deal it seems. And the newer the phone you're trading in the worse of a deal it is. I have an iPhone 14 Max that according to this, is worth as much as an iPhone 12 in any kind of condition.

This is a tell. And how you need a certain top unlimited contract to get the 'deal'.

You've got to hand it them, they are slick. They get you when you are in that iPhone moment (or at least me lol)

Anyone get a FedEx Delivery e-mail originating from Plainfield, Indiana? INGRAMMICRO. It matches deliver date of 9/22 and by weight (.45kgs) and also has "Shipper Restrictions" Attached. Smells a lot like Apple.

Yup. I get it from there every year, delivered to NYC

I can confirm that just 45 min ago I received a FedEx shipment notification email with a tracking number originating from Fort Worth, TX. Delivery date 9/22/23 between 9 am and 1 pm PDT, signature required. I preordered the base model Pro Max in Natural Titanium at 5:15 am local time last Friday.

As long as you did not order an iPhone 15 Max you should be good for next week. There have be issues with the Max production quantities, they started late and there was a reduced amount for Pre-Order resulting in the Nov. dates.

Dave
Ordered the pro max, so sounds like I am in trouble…

Your 14 max is only worth as much as a 12 pro max, not a regular 12 in "any kind of condition". Even the 12 pro max drops to $830 tier if it's in bad shape (ask me how I know...)

You're right, it's not as good of a deal if you just bought a phone last year... .but you know, you don't have to buy a new phone every year, either.
For those of us trading 3-5 year old phones, it's a fantastic deal. They are taking advantage of your weakness, not forcing you to take a raw deal.

Well my iPhone is in Texas ready to be shipped but I have an issue I can't seem to resolve. I live in a locked apartment building. I called Fedex and they don't allow their agents to get codes to enter the building. Plus the phone requires a signature. That I can easily provide as I will be home all day. I called Apple to see what they could do to help delivery and they said to call ATT. ATT is so busy with customer service that they can't call back until Thursday. So it looks like I will spend the entire day on Friday sitting in the entryway of my apartment waiting for FedEx to show up. If anyone has any suggestions on what to do it would be appreciated.

Go talk to your apt building management or call and ask how they handle FedEx deliveries that require signatures. Usually the drivers are in certain areas around certain times and they could possibly be able to tell you when FedEx usually delivers

Well good, someone else to share my pain compare wait times to and see how close we are to getting our orders
This is 100% the norm. As long as you got a delivery date of 9/22, there is no concern. The past few years no one got tracking info this early. The last 2 years I didn’t get tracking info from FedEx delivery manager until early Thursday morning. They will start moving tomorrow depending on the final destination. By Wednesday most or all phones will be at your local distribution center and ready to be loaded on the truck Friday morning. It’s too early to stress.

That is a good suggestion. Our UPS drivers in town have our entry code but when I called Fedex they said they couldn't provide that to their drivers because its a security risk. Crazy....
