Carrier AT&T iPhone 15/iPhone 15 Pro Pre-order & Delivery Thread

It's probably gonna be a bit a messy with a number port from Verizon to cancel the order and re-do. But on Friday I would call the stores just to see if they have (they likely wont). If they do, maybe they can cancel (since it wouldnt have shipped yet) and do the whole thing over. Its just that usually the more pre-orders they do, the less they get in store.
 
FedEx issue

My phone is coming Friday signature required. I won’t be home. Will they reattempt delivery on a Saturday or have to wait until Monday?

Also it WILL NOT allow me to “hold at location” for pickup. Any idea why?

Just got a tracking number in my fedex app around 1:40PM EST. No details other than it’s coming from AT&T in Fort Worth, Texas and a shipping label was created.

I can only speak for myself but I have been with AT&T since the iPhone 4 and I have never had a problem with ordering directly through them rather than Apple. I think the tracking is a little more direct (and faster) with Apple for whatever reason but I've always had my phone purchased at the AT&T website delivered as indicated and on-time. I've also never had a problem with a trade-in or upgrade (no lost phones or anything). I do purchase tracking when I send them in for trade though as I think that is a prudent thing to do.

Nice…still waiting. Trying to make sense of how AT&T and FedEx does this with iPhone releases. I’m used to going through Apple

If you call in you may be able to request a hold I think. I am in an apartment and was not able to add any delivery instructions via the FedEx website. When I called FedEx directly the agent added instructions for the driver to call via our intercom system when he arrives so I can go down and sign for the phone. If its possible to have your item held at a FedEx location the agent should be able to put that in place for you. I do know you need a FedEx facility in your town for the hold. We do not have one in my town so that was not an option for me.

I just got mine what's interesting is that it's picked up and has overnight delivery but it still coming on Friday...
 
I am still holding out some hope with my 9/22-10/6 date but it’s looking more and more like next week as Thursday approaches

Welp, I placed the order. Guess we'll see how things go.

Probably won't see it until October, though, since I didn't order as soon as it opened up.

I think someone else said the same. But my original estimated date was 9/21 never changed.

AT&T still says “Processing”.

FedEx just updated and gave me a date and estimated timeframe for delivery.

I am with you on this. But staying hopeful. They can ship it out Thursday night for Friday morning.

My ordered was made at 8:19 EST…are you checking here or the other big thread?

It’s only been a few here that have there tracking numbers so far. And we ordered through AT&T.
