My ordered was made at 8:19 EST…are you checking here or the other big thread?

It’s only been a few here that have there tracking numbers so far. And we ordered through AT&T.
But when should I expect something from FedEx?
 
I couldn't place my order until 8:24, but it said the expected delivery was the 22nd. I'm my order information, it is still showing that it will be shipped by September 21. Here is what my order page looks like. Also, I don't have FedEx information yet. What does every one else's order page look like?

anyone else seeing a “we hit a snag” message in the AT&T app for your order? My order was showing fine until today and now it says that and action required but when I click on the order, everything seems okay and there is no error or anything that shows up.
This is happening for me too!! I contacted a rep, who looked into the order and told me not to worry about it, but I'm still feeling out about it!!

I guess I should clarify that I am a FirstNet customer, not sure if their inventory is any different than what regular AT&T customers have available. I experienced a lot of problems online, and after attempting on my own for a few hours I finally just called. I didn’t get my order in until just after 1PM EST. I got an email about an hour later with an order confirmation. When I check my order status with AT&T, it hasn’t updated. It just says ordered with a 9/21 ship date. I noticed yesterday I had a “pending delivery” in my FedEx app but no information. Today it has updated a couple of times with an on time delivery of 9/22.
 
But when should I expect something from FedEx?
not necessarily. they might have an iphone alloted to you already and they haven't created the label or scanned it in yet. i've had no updates until thursday night and got the phone on friday last time around.

I’m a FirstNet customer too. Didn’t really have issues on preorder day. Gave me an error screen when I checked out but my order still went through.
 
We are out of town this Friday and we have notification on my FedEx Manager that our phone requires a signature. I put vacation hold until we get back…anyone know how signature requirement and FedEx vacation hold would work? Hoping they don’t return the phone and would make sense for them to deliver after the vacation hold date.
 
If you call in you may be able to request a hold I think. I am in an apartment and was not able to add any delivery instructions via the FedEx website. When I called FedEx directly the agent added instructions for the driver to call via our intercom system when he arrives so I can go down and sign for the phone. If its possible to have your item held at a FedEx location the agent should be able to put that in place for you. I do know you need a FedEx facility in your town for the hold. We do not have one in my town so that was not an option for me.
I’ve had a few problems with FedEx where I called and they said they’ll tell the driver to re-deliver or follow instructions to use the gate code. A few times, the rep on the phone would say they submitted instructions to the driver and the driver still doesn’t follow the instructions. Sometimes those phone reps say they’ll do something but they never do. Hopefully it works out for you! 👍
 
I had the same exact problem. Also a FIRSTNET user. Just had to call in to make a new order & lost my place in line from the original order. I wonder if it had something to do with them migrating the FIRSTNET website over to the standard AT&T website within the past year. Several other people on twitter had the same issue. Seems they probably just screwed a bunch of Firstnet users.
Had the same problem, hoped it would resolve automatically. It didn’t. Canceled and reordered today, now shipping 2 weeks after the original estimate.

Worst case if you really have a Launch Day delivery is that you will receive an eMail from AT&T by Thursday evening with your FedEx order number and some AT&T specific information about your order.

Shouldn’t it already shipped because on the app it said “Ships by Tuesday” which is today.

Same boat for me. FirstNet and my original order was cancelled and had to place a new one over the phone. But for me the second order has always been 9/22-10/6 estimated ship.

Ordered Blue Titanium Pro Max through the Apple website using AT&T $1000 trade in credit (12 promax). Picking up the phone in Apple store on Friday. The checkout process allowed 2 ways to deliver the trade in - in the Apple store @pick up, or receive a trade in kit in the mail. I picked the latter to allow enough time to synch the old phone to the new. Having second thoughts now. Does the Apple store allow time to run the synch or complete the icloud restore to the new device?
Forgot to add....my trade in is mint condition physically, but it will not charge on a wired cable - only wireless. Is that likely to be raised as a sticking point when applying the $1000 credit? And do AT&T stores accept trade ins? I heard they can be cranky about that

it will likely bump you down to $830 tier
 
Again, not trying to make any integrity judgements about the delivery drivers and definitely not try to include them with porch pirates but it's human nature to want something expensive that's not your own. I've always done in-store pick-up at an AT&T company store or a local Best Buy. Congrats to all getting their deliveries this week. Unfortunately, we have to wait until 10/6.

I just called FedEx and the customer service agent I spoke to earlier today had entered instructions for the delivery driver. So they are in place in the system well ahead of time. I was told that drivers are not allowed to use entrance codes for security reasons and that may have been part of the issue you experienced. At my building they just need to punch in my phone number on a keypad by the door to notify me they are there. FedEx says this something done regularly with locked apartments. I am persistent person so if this isn't done as expected FedEx will get a no-nonsense phone call or two from me until directions are followed. This is part of the delivery process. There will always be an occasional bad egg driver out there who isn't doing their job correctly. Unfortunately there is no way to predict if they are on your route but my experiences with FedEx have been largely positive including customer service.
