Yeah, I ordered one yesterday, 15 Pro max 1TB in blue. I stopped by my local AT&T store moments ago that opened up at 8 o’clock and he was putting out the demo models. The blue is a very nice color. I looked at the neutral gray or the natural titanium and that’s nice also. As soon as you hold it, fingerprints do show up on the sides so it does attract fingerprints quickly. but, I carry moist microfiber cloths with me to wipe my phone down several times a day so I keep it clean. My phone won’t be here until mid October I believe so I got a ways to go before I get one, so I look forward to y’all showing photos and taking pictures.
Generally they dont like when people come to the hubs (Fedex). I think it usually comes down to your local hub and how they deal with it. I asked a rep yesterday, and he confirmed that they don't tell Fedex to not allow holds on shipments. I bet there is a way to get it moved to a fedex pickup location, but you'd more than likely have to call your local Fedex and get that sorted out. Don't stress! It will work itself out!
ATT put a restriction on all of the shipments where you can’t have them held for pickup. That’s absolutely crazy.
Two options:
1. Print out the FedEx tracking screen, write a note on it asking for it to be left at the door, sign it, date it, and pray your FedEx guy plays ball.
2. Get a friend to bring a lawn chair and sit on your doorstep all day until the FedEx guy arrives. Pay for his Uber Eats and get him a port-a-potty for emergencies.
As of 5 minutes ago I am OUT FOR DELIVERY and my nearest FedEx hub is only 20 minutes away so it's simply a matter of how many Amazon boxes are on the truck.

Mine got delayed to Monday due to a thunderstorm in the town 2 hours away and they couldn’t fly here… when they could just drive it. But I guess that’s better than waiting til November
The true elite iPhone buyers would have taken this Friday off from work months ago and had told his boss I have a long lost family member from China coming into town that weekend.
I got opposite information from an ATT Rep; it sounds like they really dont know either way.

My online orders got canceled ended up ordering at like 7pm in store.
They made me ship it to the store... how can i check fedex for delivery if it isn't my address? Assuming you can't put your order number in and find it anywhere?

It was Apple and not AT&T. FedEx and UPS orders are both Signature Required this year. Only Apple can change to a hold or redirect since they are the Shipper.

I’m pretty sure Apple is putting the restrictions on the package not AT&T. They are doing the same on the UPS side too. So I’m sure it’s Apple not the carriers.

I don’t know what to believe now. I got a text, and in the FedEx app it said mine was now delayed until Monday, but no reason why. Saw your post and wondered if the website itself would list why, and it doesn’t list a delay and still says it’s being delivered today.
There was legitimately a thunderstorm in the town it was in. My friend is a plane nerd and saw fedex was also taking off from there for delivery here and they got diverted to Minneapolis and are flying in that way. UPS just didn’t want to drive here from 2 hours away or divert their flight.
Last year my 14 showed delayed up until the moment the FedEx guy was my door. Can only imagine that on days like this their tracking system is stretched to the limit.
Yes…FirstNet didn’t show “Shipped” until today. Been on “Processing” since I ordered. I’ve had a tracking number since Tuesday.
I never had a window. Mine always said “Estimated to ship 9/21”

I do have a co-worker (FirstNet customer) ordered 2 phones on 9/16 in the evening over the phone. Same window as yours for both phones. Same model as mine except one is 256GB. The 256GB is “Out for Delivery” but the 512GB is unknown with no tracking. Not sure what the FirstNet website says though for either phone.
kinda wish it was like amazon and showed how many stops the delivery guy has until your house
