Thank you for your recent order! Your new AT&T phone will allow you to take advantage of all of the great services and features available to you as part of the nation's largest wireless family.
Follow these quick and easy steps to get your phone set up properly:
1.Charge the battery in your new phone (please refer to the instructions in your phone's user guide) .
2.Transfer your phone numbers to your new phone.
When your phone arrives, you may want to move the phone numbers stored on your existing phone and/or SIM to your new phone and SIM. Follow the steps below to transfer phone numbers from one phone to another:
Save your phone numbers to your existing SIM.
Transfer your existing SIM to your new phone.
Save your phone numbers from your existing SIM to your new phone.
Remove your existing SIM from your new phone.
For detailed device specific instructions, visit Phone and Device support, at att.com/devicesupport , and follow the steps below:
Type in "save phone numbers to SIM" in the 'Answer Center' text box and select Search
Click on the 'How do I transfer phone numbers from one phone to another phone' Answer Center link.
Follow the instructions for your device.
If you don't find a tutorial for your device, please refer to the instructions in your phone's user guide.
If your current phone does not have a SIM card, you will need to manually enter your contacts into your new phone once activation is complete.
3.Insert your new SIM (Smart Chip) into your new phone (please refer to the instructions in your phone's user guide).
4.Activate your new phone
After transferring your phone numbers and inserting your new SIM, you will be ready to activate the new phone.
Go to att.com/activations and select 'Equipment Upgrade' to activate your new device, or call 1-866-895-1099 .
That's it! Your new phone is now ready to make and receive calls.
