My friend ordered a single iPhone 16gb 4 and it says shipped(at about 5 today). When you click the number it says not found on fedx's site. Is it the same for you guys? My friend will thank you

same but fed ex said they were holding the iphones for shipment until the 22nd when i called earlier
 
alright. aLright. Alright. I can breathe.
My order finally went from 1 to 0. I was getting pissed - but now I think I may just go for a run.
I had ordered two iPhone 32gb from the premier site on 6/15 around 4am (PST)
On Saturday, my wifes order went from 1 to 0 - but mine didn't (hence, why I've been so pissed)
This morning I received and email from AT&T saying that my wifes iPhone had shipped - but no updates about mine.
At last, as of ~ 8pm tonight mine now went from 1 to 0.
Now lets just see what happens come Thursday.

I would recommend strongly AGAINST upgrading your 3G to iOS4. I've been running the betas and the RC/GM of iOS4 on my 3G and it is PAINFUL. However, iOS4 on a 3GS is fine.

From tipb.com: "If you’re using the iPhone 3G or iPod touch 2G you won’t get the multitasking and a few other things. You’ll blame Apple. Apple will blame the hardware. The hardware will try to frustrate you into upgrading to an iPhone 4. You’ve been warned."
 
Why did mine ship through UPS??

Does anyone's fedex tracking number actually work? Or is it just me? When I click on the tracking link it just tells me it's not in their system yet or something. Yet I see other people in the apple thread tracking their orders already.
 
Been lurking on this forum since the first post.

Finally moved from backordered!! This is certainly a good sign.

Just checked mine and the QTY back-ordered 1 is gone all of a sudden. Now it says 0. Here's hoping that means something. I'm sure as hell not gonna read 102 pages to find out

They were processed like a day ago. And my friends doesnt work either. Did you get the shipping email?

The information will be updated when the carrier picks up the order at our warehouse."
 
My backorder just went away too! Yay! Ordered at approximately 6pm cdt on the 15th through Premier.

I imagine that they have shipped too many packages through FedEX at this point and are having to use UPS for some. FedEX normally ships 1,000,000 packages a day. You figure if they had to ship 600,000 next day packages this wouldn't be possible. Granted they do appear to be staggering these orders since Sunday to help with this. Even then that is a lot of extra volume for them. Just a thought.
