**AT&T iPhone 4 Order Status Thread**

As hard as it is to say as I was with you up until a few hours ago, I would not stress if I were you. I really do think that AT&T's system went screwy in the beginning hours and they had/have to manually process those orders. I do however think that they were smart enough to allocate stock to satisfy the manual orders. I would wager that you are in good shape.

is it to much to ask for a tracking number...i mean honestly if i was just signing up with at&t i would be ticked...but it's not shocking for everybody that already has at&t

This forum has been really helpful i appreciate everyone's input. But would anyone say that if we do not go off of backorder by tomorrow that a phone on Thursday is a no go? (premiere customer 11:50 am MST)

yeah there is a good chance you most likely will not get one thursday...probably in the 2nd batch tho....good luck!

Ordered on the 15th (around 11:00 AM CST).
I've never got a confirmation e-mail.
Regular site says ordered on 16th and was showing back-ordered up until 10 minutes ago (12:00 AM CST 6/22 - midnight).
Premier site says ordered on the 15th. Current status is "processing". Last action was on the 17th.
Talked to AT&T today (21st). They said I do indeed have an order (that's good) and it will arrive on the 24th (I'm assuming with the free shipment of gold bars I get every month on the 24th).

um i think somebody said that it could be around the 25 thru the 5th....yeah i know thats an awful answer but thats what i have gathered from what at&t and apple have told people

I tried but neither site would let me in, I finally was able to order from work via Premiere, I got my confirmation email immediately after, stamped 11:50 MST. I called att on Friday and she said not to worry since my card had been authorized, I would get it on time. But like everyone else the charge has fallen off and I am backordered! I do feel better seeing others in the same (overcrowded) boat.
Apple is now saying people may get their phones on the 23rd ... what the F?

I placed my order with att.com at 5:15 a.m. EDT on the 15th (having despaired after 75 minutes of ever getting through the Apple website), got an order confirmation on the 16th (listing the 16th as the order date), received the CSS email this morning around 10:30 am, and just received a UPS tracking number with a ship date of June 21--which was good, since I first checked the Apple Store and discovered with initial horror that my Apple order, placed around 7 pm on the 15th (when I was despairing of AT&T ever acknowledging my order) was just cancelled. It looks as if AT&T and Apple did get their systems to finally talk to one another since the Apple cancellation and the AT&T tracking number assignment were near simultaneous. (And like others, I received no warning or explanatory email from Apple--not that I needed one after I nervously checked order status on AT&T.)
I'm really getting much too old for this.
