Both orders have not been shipped by AT&T.

My wife's premier order was shipped with FedEx and already picked up in FT Worth. Est. Delivery Date is tomorrow.

My order through the AT&T Store (pen and paper) was shipped this morning through UPS, but still waiting for a pickup. We'll see how that one goes.
 
Well, I am a Premier Customer and ordered at 04:30 EDT on the 15th, my order page says i placed my two orders on the 16th and are in "Backorder" status. Not only that but AT&T says everything is on track to be delivered to me on the 24th but have no tracking information AND my bank account holds that were there for the two phones, are now gone and I see no charges for the phones...what a cluster. :cool:
 
i seriously cant sleep a full night waiting for this phone. and trust me im far from the type of person who doesnt have a life


i just want a confirmation number!! UGHH!!!
 
I figure I will post here too since it looks like those who post here finally get a status update.

Tried like hell to order from 8am until finally getting my order in at 11AM EST on the 15th. Got the email on the 17th confirming my order, saw a pending charge in my account which has since been removed. Order date shows the 16th, never on backorder, one phone 16gb black. Not shipped yet :(

Next month I should hold my payment and tell them it should ship in the order I receive my bills. I finally got off the backordered mess but now stuck in the limbo stage with no tracking number or idea of what to expect. I could care less about getting it tomorrow (it would be really nice though), but I would like my *hit on time on the 24th. :mad:

For the people still on backorder, keep your heads up. Now that processing is shipping today they should be able to free up a lot of labor to finish off orders to ship. They should be able to get most of us done by the 24th. :eek:
 
Just got off the phone with premier. I ordered at 6am on the 15th through ATT premier. I am backordered and in processing.

THis is bad news for me. They said "its the launch date of the 24th" and mine will ship on the 24th overnight for a 25th delivery.

I have no idea if they even know for sure. She sounded confused.

Not good for us that ordered very early on the 15th.

Same with me. Got my FedEx tracking number early yesterday from AT&T (6/21) but it's still not showing up in the FedEx system to track the package. Kind of hoping this changes soon; would like to see info that iPhone is on the way.
 
Quick note on mine. Ordered 6/15 at 11AM ET. The tracking numbers have been there since yesterday but I cannot drill down to them. There is no additional information in the system.

Just checked Fedex tracking number and mine is suppose to be delivered tomorrow. Now, where do I find that Fedex pre-authorization form that is usually included with Apple orders? I do not see one in ATT email :(

There are 1000's of people who don't even have tracking numbers yet, so just consider yourself lucky that you have one.
 
I just called FedEx and the rep said that they are being held until the 24th and I should be able to view my tracking number as of tomorrow.
 
My order on Jun 15, 2010 @ 8:50AM CST still shows processing (has not been updated since the 16th). Is there another place we can check for tracking info?
 
I ordered on the 15th, at 7:30PM EST, after the cut-off, and I have my tracking number. It's through UPS though. But AT&T sent me an e-mail this morning:

Dear ___________,
Your iPhone order is staged for pickup by our shipping carrier. Your tracking number is shown below.

Because of unprecedented volume, it may be as much as 24 to 72 hours before the carrier can provide any detailed information to you. The information will be updated when the carrier picks up the order at our warehouse.

If you placed an order at one of our stores and asked for the product to be shipped to the store for pick up there, our AT&T sales associate will call you when it has arrived.

This. I have all gen phones and never had any issues whatsoever going through apple. I swear next year i'll just go without and chance it at a store next time through Apple if AT&T is my only shipping option.

I haven't cared about a launch until you put your energy in getting this right, hear about a terrible company reputation handling your order, put some hope that they will get this right, and then get screwed in the end when you did exactly as they asked. THAT'S THE MOST FRUSTRATING PART. :mad:
 
Shipped - Update

Just an update...

I ordered from Premier at 7:30 a.m. 6/15 EST. My order on the AT&T Premier site said 'Attention' until the 16th. It was removed and my order was transferred to the regular AT&T site on the 17th. Today my order on the AT&T regular site shows shipped. My status on the Premier site says 'in progress' and my status using the Premier phone number says 'processed and will be shipped shortly'. By the way, I have only received 1 email, my confirmation, since I ordered.

Should have mentioned, I am a premier customer, so that link doesn't work for my order #.

I am glad I am not the only one whose hasn't updated since the 16th, haha.

It's probably because we're from minnesota ;)

I am a premier customer as well, use your phone number and zip code in the boxes. The premier order page doesn't update as frequently.

And yes, we minnesotans are always neglected :) I wish I was still in Fridley (near Minneapolis), but I go to school/work in Duluth so I am even further away from the central shipping locations.
