**AT&T iPhone 4 Order Status Thread**

I just called fedex(I have a non working tracking number, ATT regular site 4:14am CST order), and the rep proceeded to tell me that she couldn't give me any information on my tracking number, and that they were under contract with Apple not to do so. Blah.
 
You people are angry that tracking numbers exist before they're valid? What?

Waybills can have tracking numbers printed on them when they're printed years before anybody sticks them on a package. Internal shipping systems can also generate "valid" numbers. There won't be information to track until they're on a FedEx truck and FedEx is told the tracking number. They ship overnight — they don't need to ship until TOMORROW for you to get it on time. Why the hell are you people angry?

Now we're going to start having people angry that they don't get their phones a day early when you didn't even think you'd get it until the 24th when you first ordered it. This is why we can't have nice things.

I really don't get how the heck you people are angry about things being late when we're still at T minus two days.

Mine is 101228400, and is shipped and already in tampa. should get it in the morning, I had FedEx hold it at the warehouse, I work a block away.

This is as much as I have... it seems to be stuck in Memphis, but ultimate destination is DC. Fingers crossed it comes tomorrow! Weird that it doesn't have a destination on the page though, right?

as someone who isn't, i'd like to know what other Premier people are still sitting on back order. i had to clear a fraud block on 6/17 so that's what my non-Premier order status says for an order date. Premier still says 6/15.

My Premier order shows the date as the 15th and the non-premier status shows the 16th and backordered. The only change I saw today was the cancellation of the second, duplicate order on the standard at&t site. I wonder if the delays for those who ordered on the 15th were people like me that at&t had some issue with the order that took manual intervention to resolve.
 
so I just came back from swimming and my iphone is still on backorder. I swear if something doesn't change within the next two hours I will call At&t. I swear I will... but I will be nice about it. :)

I just wish something would budge.

I also have a non working tracking number (ATT reg 5:30a CST)
I called earlier and the lady found out some information for me. I didn't tell her what was in the package, of course. She said that it was labeled as "bulk" and is sitting in their Fort Worth, TX facility. She actually put me on hold to call that facility and came back saying that they are going to ship out tonight but because it's a "bulk" order she doesn't know when I'm supposed to receive it. Apparently they have 1,000s of them in this bulk. I'm in Houston, TX.

i have two iphone orders, its weird because im only getting 1 32 gig, one just went from 1 to 0 backordered to other is still 1 baclordered so im hopeful/confident ill have mine by latest the 24th otherwise im calling my american express centurion and cancelling my order, this is borderline crazy.

I don't think they do the destination until it gets to the hub and scheduled out.

I am so depressed! Mine still shows backordered,I ordered via premiere at 6am pacific on the 15th -

I agree with you. It's a PHONE!! The orders are moving. Does it REALLY make that much difference if it's tomorrow, Thursday or Friday? You can always stop by the FedEx office to pick it up if you're not home for delivery. No worries;)
