It's pretty clear to me now that those who were held up on "Backordered" got their orders expedited and shipped today for delivery tomorrow. Those who were always in the clear (probably orders placed before their system crashed) and have been in the front of the line won't see their orders shipped till tomorrow for delivery on the 24th.
I am disappoint.
As long as I get it the 24th it's fine with me.

my sister's and my buddy's tracking status had them leaving Memphis tonight which is 3 hours from Nashville and yet my tracking order doesn't show crap....i ordered my hours before they did....

Yep! It will arrive when your tracking number on the website says it will. Called fed ex and double checked. They assures it would arrive tomorrow. Check in the morning. It will say out for delivery. Some people even got theirs today.
Att retail
Do you think that Att retail stores will let us people that are expecting to pick up our phones through them get it early aswell if it comes in? Mine is still in Memphis according to ups, but that was like 16 hours ago, I'm sure it's on the road.

Mine just changed from 101 to 100. YAY! I called ATT Premier and the lady said most orders started as "back-ordered" b/c they weren't shipped right away. She said status should change tonight to "ordered" as all orders will ship on the 23rd and arrive on 24th as promised. I guess those who got theirs today and tmr should go buy a lottery ticket.
My Fedex status says the phone's in Boston (7 miles away!) and will deliver tomorrow by 3PM.

Am I the only one who STILL does not have any tracking info from FedEx?!? I have a tracking number and have received all the obligatory emails from AT&T...BUT NO TRACKING INFO
lets hope so, they said they would call, but as soon as i see that my phone was delivered to the store, im going up there and asking in person ill just say that i saw my phone delivered and was wondering if they had it. Thats what i did with the 3g and they went in the back and grabbed it for me.
I was a prompt orderer (got it confirmed a little before 2:30 AM Pacific time) through the premier store (like just about everyone else.. I'd guess most who didn't need their discount went with Apple) and I'm getting mine tomorrow from FedEx. What time did you place the order?
Don't worry. I'm in the same boat. Finally got through around 12:30pm PST 6/15, order status page indicates 6/16, nothing has ever been backordered, and still not shipped/no shipping info. Hopefully something changes overnight, if not before, for delivery on Thursday.
