**AT&T iPhone 4 Order Status Thread**

I see so many people bashing the AT&T reps on the phones...hate to say it, but those reps DON'T work for AT&T...they are outsourced to another company...a telemarketing company.
All those reps have a set way of doing things as dictated by AT&T - I can guarantee you that the folks are all over AT&T to get them info that they can pass along to you but AT&T isn't giving it to them...try not to take out your frustrations on the "clueless" reps - half of them probably didn't even work on the program before last week and are trudging through the calls as back-ups for the overflow.
Not everyone is tech savvy...but what do you expect to get when you pay someone $10-12/hr to handle phone calls and then throw the whole iPhone thing on top of it.

my tracking info started working about 20 minutes after it got posted.
first it still said 'in progress' but it gave me a ship date of today, with the tracking number, but it didn't work.. 20 minutes later it changed from 'in progress' to 'shipped' and the tracking number worked.
i am assuming that fedex/ups just can't handle it all and that's why some people aren't getting updated tracking information.. if yours says it shipped though, i really think you'll get it tomorrow, or thursday at LEAST. cause it's all overnight shipping.
so does anyone think i will get my iphone4 on the 23rd like alot of people are if i had my tracking number since monday morning but its still not in the fedex system

That'd be nice, but all indications are that if your phone hasn't been scanned into the system yet, yours will ship tomorrow for delivery on the 24th.
does anyone have their phone order for Miami via fedx, can you please tell me if
you have any idea or know if the shipment has arrived anywhere near us bcuz my tracking number for fedx has not been updated sins it states as shipped and that was yesterday with a shipped date of 6/18/2010.

I think we will all get our phones on, or before the 24th, unless it says back-ordered that is.
But we are all a wee bit too impatient...me included

I'm with you... Unfortunately. Mine has said "Status: Shipped" with "Ship Date: 06/19/10" and had a tracking # since Sunday but still...Am I the only one who STILL does not have any tracking info from FedEx?!? I have a tracking number and have received all the obligatory emails from AT&T...BUT NO TRACKING INFO
...From the FedEx website and any tracking apps / widgets. I'm not being impatient or paranoid but beginning to get a little annoyed. I was thinking it could take 24-48 hours to update in the FedEx system -- and that's fine -- but no trace of it at all is quite silly after 72 hours.

Mine looks like that (though it only went that way about a couple of hours ago even though I got the "shipped" email about 9am). I think that UPS doesn't update their info as frequently as Fedex does. BTW I'm in TX too, wouldn't surprise me if many other TX deliveries are in this state. I can see if there is a distribution center in Dallas (like others have mentioned) that ours would physically ship out later since they'll likely be on an overnight truck since it won't take as long (esp for you in Plano).

I'm in the same boat going upcreek...
Mines says "Not Found," and I called FedEx and they said they have it ready for shipping tomorrow (23rd), so call them and ask.
yup me too...I WISH i had a tracking number to complain about - hearing about people who are complaining about FedEx/UPS not updating who have ordered AFTER me are especially irritating.
Finally off Backordered!!! Ordered at 9:10AM EST on June 15th. Hopefully I have a tracking number in the morning
