**AT&T iPhone 4 Order Status Thread**

Is their anybody else just wishin to wake up to a confirmed shipping with a tracking # that has estimated delivery of the 24th :confused::confused::confused::confused:

I think that UPS doesn't update their info as frequently as Fedex does. BTW I'm in TX too, wouldn't surprise me if many other TX deliveries are in this state. I can see if there is a distribution center in Dallas (like others have mentioned) that ours would physically ship out later since they'll likely be on an overnight truck since it won't take as long (esp for you in Plano).

I still have nada when I click my tracking number on FedEx, but I called FedEx and was informed that it would not be scanned until TOMORROW (6-23) for overnight shipping and delivery on (6-24).

I ordered 4am PT on the 15th. My ship date was (6-17) on AT&T's site.

The FedEx rep had obviously fielded a lot of calls. She knew just how to check the tracking number and assured me that there would be "no info" in the system until it scans tomorrow.

How strange!! My FedEx tracking updated "arriving to FedEx Facility" at Memphis, TN! WTF. the transporter is seriously heading in the wrong direction! :mad:

Ugh I hope FedEx will head back West by tonight. If it goes any further East there's going to be hell to pay. =(

Ordered: June 15th at ~12:30pm EST / 9:30am PST via Premiere

32GB went off backorder at about 6pm EST / 3pm PST today on the normal order site. Still shows processing/in process with no tracking number.

On a side note, "Apple IPHONE ACCESSORY" is listed as backordered still, I assume this is extended warranty.

ALL Fed Ex orders go through Memphis ;)
 
Called fedex a second time in regards to my non working tracking #. This time I'm told that my package was scheduled to be delivered tomorrow(4am CST regular ATT site order), but he doesn't think it will be because it is not in their possession yet. First fedex rep told me they couldn't give me any info as they were under contract with Apple not to. I need to stop obsessing!!! :p
 
Just had a thought, wouldn't it be cool if Apple/AT&T could attach our new iphones to our accounts ahead of time and ship them turned on. Then we could use "Find My iPhone" to track the phone itself :) Just think of all the phone calls it would save alone. Wouldn't stop anyone from obsessing though, just change the nature of it:

"Why is my iphone sitting on the corner of 14th and Grant, it's been there for the last 3 minutes, at least, STUPID AT&T"

"I called Fedex and asked why my iPhone is only traveling at 45mph, if I take it's current location and multiply by the remaining distance times it's current speed, it won't get here until 3:15pm and it's guaranteed before 3:00, I'm Pissed"

"I wrote a script to tell my iphone to take a picture every 3 seconds so I'll know when it's arrived when I see a picture of my face smiling down at it"

etc, etc
