I ordered a 16 GB and a 32 GB at noon on the 15th at the local AT&T store. After the pending charges had been dropped off Tuesday, my credit card has now been charged. Both phones are on the truck, as are the bumpers. (Alas, my Coach handbag won't be here until Friday though... somehow, I'll survive.)

I'm moving over from Verizon and was given temporary numbers the day I ordered the phones. I was instructed to charge the phones and bring them back to the store so they can switch over our current Verizon phone numbers. Is this something I can easily do on my own, or should I go ahead and take the phones to the store? (I know nothing about phones, but can find my way around my iMac and iPod pretty well.)

Out for delivery!!! Finally...good thing I woke up to order early and those buttheads who didn't (sister and best friend) already got em' and are asking me how to use it GRRRRR...

Either way it's here the day I expected it to be originally...

Question- How do FEDex handle packages for apartment complexes? Leave a sticker? Hopefully not leave in on the doorstep? Take it to my front office?

I don't want to have to leave work every hour to see if it's there, but I'll do it. My boss wants to see it more than I do lol
 
WTF? FedEx status page just updated with this exception:

Future delivery requested

It was on truck for delivery.

EDIT: They updated the delivery time from "by 3pm" to "by 11pm".

Hold times now are about 30 min and growing. I'm on with a rep right now trying to figure things out.

One out of two "on FedEx vehicle for delivery"

I ordered two at the same time. My AmEx card has been charged for both, and both have delivery dates of June 24. One status update says out for delivery, the other says information received by FedEx. Again, both have delivery dates of June 24. I'm guessing (hoping) they'll both arrive today. I guess we'll know soon enough. Anybody else with two different tracking updates for phones ordered together?
 
No tracking number, no anything. Ordered on the 15th at a store, didnt get processed until the 16th. Im sick of this BS and i also hate that my initials are BS

Mine is also out for delivery. Re: being in an apartment- I figured my boss wouldn't like that much if I kept leaving hehehe :D So I put a piece of paper on the door to my building that said "Fedex- please buzz XX (my neighbor) with my package." Hopefully he'll let her sign for it. And hopefully it'll be delivered before lunch so I can go get it! :)
 
10:45am Wednesday it was at sort facility 60 miles north of me. FedEx just updated, and it is now at a sort facility 60 miles south of me. Is FedEx playing keep away with my iPhone? :eek:

Same here..on vehicle for delivery in GA...I'm so impatient right now at work...I'm almost useless. :D

Only thing I'm worried about is the yellow smudge issue. Hope this is a very low incidence thing. first thing I do when I get mine is check for that after syncing up at activating. The reception issue can be easily resolved with a bumper or case if mine is affected. The yellow smudge issue can't be resolved other than waiting on a replacement, which is difficult since the demand is so high at the moment. really hoping for no yellow issues.

Same spiel as above. The order is in and processed (it's a new account so I wanted to make sure nothing broke it), but no tracking number has been assigned yet. Wait time was about 30-40 mins. Rep was nice.

I asked him about the whole first-come, first-serve business and he said that's how it should all be processed but didn't really have an answer as to why it wasn't it.

He shows my order timestamped as 15th @ 12:30pm EST, and the Date Ordered: 06/17/10" date on my status page is when the warehouse actually received the order.

My assumption is that even though I ordered it on the 15, for some reason my order got bumped two days in the warehouse to the "17th" batch for shipping. It is still considered a pre-order so it'll ship as soon as the warehouse gets to it. God knows when that'll be.

So I'm pretty much giving up hope of getting my iPhone today, possibly this week. :(

Same. I ordered a case which was shipped last friday but hasnt made it here yet. And of course since I choose ground shipping for it, they wont supply a tracking number with it, so maybe they'll both come today but who knows.
 
Is there any Premier Customers that still haven't received any sort of shipping information?

Have you called Premier customer support?
