Just got off the phone with Fed Ex, they told me that the Memphis status didn't update cause they simply don't know where the package is. She told me that it could have gone to the wrong state bla bla bla. So they're putting a trace on it to find out where it is and it might take about 24hrs to hear back from them. It's never easy. Hate my life!!!! :mad:

FWIW: My FedEx guy came to the door this morning with a delivery...it wasn't the iPhone but something else... I told him I though he was here with the phone and he said that he had a truck full of them with instructions NOT to begin delivery until 3PM :eek: Since I had asked him, he went back to his truck and found mine and gave it to me--thanked me for saving him a trip back :D This is in Charlotte, NC. Don't know if it's like that elsewhere, but he did say they had instructions not to deliver until 3 :confused:

What the.....??? Why would they do that? Is someone trying to make us nuts here or what? When I placed my order on 6/15 at the AT&T store, they told me that the phones were expected to arrive the evening of 6/23 and be ready for distribution first thing on 6/24. The sales guy even told me that the store was going to open at 7AM for both pre-orders and folks who didn't get a pre-order in. My order is on the truck for delivery, and that's fine, but I was hoping that it would not arrive in the afternoon when everyone and their mother will be rushing to the store for pick up. Annoying.
 
OK...activation...I had a couple of minutes and called ATT's 800 number from my land line. As soon as I entered my cell number, it told me their records indicated I had a new phone I needed to activate. I went through a couple of prompts and then it told me the phone would be activated--please turn off the device and wait 5 minutes. Here's to waiting and hoping :apple:
 
Yoohoo!!! No more waiting for me. Fedex online said, it's going to be delivered around 3:00PM but Fedex Express came at 10:25 AM.

Time to sync:D
 
I got one iPhone 4 yestaday,

Then my other which said delivers 6th - 7th shipped today, should be getting it on the 28th, yeah me. :D

Seriously man, chill out, you ask the same thing over and over and people have responded. Everyone is giving you the info you're asking even without you asking it. We're all updating whats going on with our own situations.

Anyways, nothing on my end. Cant even get through to premier.
 
Zzzzz....still "In Progress" (ordered 6/15, order # starts with 5051, no updates since).

5051's with 32gb ordered 6/15 morning: I may have some news.

Bad news. Went into the store, with a bad attitude, told them my order hadn't even shipped and showed my confirmation email from 6/15. They called up the warehouse and after 30mins of hold they said "That shipment of 32 gb's was backordered and has just arrived in the warehouse today. They are just starting to ship those out so you should get an email today or tomorrow confirming shipment. Then it will take 3-5 business days to arrive."

yeah, we're getting our phone next Tuesday (or possibly July). What a joke.

Fedex just dropped mine off :D:D Funny thing is I was home and they never rang the doorbell :p Just left it at the door lol. Now to get it activated...

I am, along with many others.

I came thisclose to canceling my order and just ordering from Apple. Yeah, I know the ship date is "by July 14th", but I feel like my order is just so ******* up that it's never going to come anyway, and at least I'll have something coming eventually. Then I decided that getting it on Monday or Tuesday (which is probably what it's going to be, at this rate) is better than mid-July.

I can say definitively, however, that if it doesn't come by the end of next week I will most definitely be canceling and ordering from Apple (or picking it up from the store.) I figure if it isn't here by then, it's not coming at all. :mad:

You gotta call a 1-800 number to finish the activation. It's a terms agreement over the phone. You have to call it using a different phone! once it is done, then it only takes 5 minutes and it will be activated!

If your phone won't activate, call 800-331-0500. It's completely automated and it WORKED!!!!!!

You know, speaking as someone in this exact situation (5051, 32gb, a.m. order), I hope this is true. At least it would mean that the phones are about to move. At this point I can live with next Tuesday - it's the not knowing that's driving me insane.
