**AT&T iPhone 4 Order Status Thread**

I'm impressed. My wife's phone was originally on order with Apple on June 15th and she never received the phone. I cancelled that on the 2nd and we already have a shipment notice. I really didn't expect much.

I still feel bad for those that ordered before us and haven't received a shipment notification yet though. I know how it goes. I've been there.
 
I ordered on 7/1 and received it today! It is currently syncing.

How long does activation typically take? I'm a bit concerned since my 3GS activated immediately. The iPhone 4 is still not activated and it has been about an hour.

Did you order through premier? And did you get a 16 or 32? If you don't mind me asking

Ordered 7/2 in store-Tulsa, OK
7/9 Came off backorder
7/9 4pm-Account charged and item shipped with tracking # with delivery on Monday, July 12th!! Exciting!!!!
 
They just left mine on my doorstep rang doorbell and left .. NO signature required be careful people...
 
where do you guys see "backordered"? I'm using the premiere order status page and it just says processing.

is there a link on wireless.att.net after you login to see your order?
 
I'm SOOOOOO excited to receive my iphone 4! It will be my first :D. The wait is killing me! :(

Still on Backorder.

I'm hoping it gets to me by Tuesday, 7/13. Fingers crossed. BTW, this is my first post, I LOVE THIS FORUM! :D

ordered 7/1 at a att store
came to my house yesterday on the 8th.

had it overnighted to the base i'm at, got it at 11am today

still waiting on the bumper

i love this phone!
 
For those who are checking order status on the Premier site, when does it tell you it was last updated? Will it update everyday if there isn't any change?

I ordered on the 6th and it says the last update was on the 7th. I know it's only the 9th but am curious if it is usual for it not to be updated daily?
 
First people said the 16gb's were shipping overnight, now the 32gb's are shipping quickly and the 16gb is slow...

Does order status update on the weekends?

This is what scares me, I ordered 16gb through Premier on the 1st at around 6 pm CST so I would say at least I would only have 5 business days as I'm not sure if At&t counted monday as a business day. I know I'm still within my 7-10 business days but it is pretty hard to see all these people getting phones after you have ordered yours.

same feeling as you. yeah we're withint the 7-10 or 7-14 day mark, but it's hard to be patient when you have people getting their phones before you who ordered the same day or even after :rolleyes:
 
Just to share my experience here:
I decided to call AT&T to check on my order to possibly get better information on when it could arrive. (I'm in a rush because my Verizon contract runs out on the 14th. I'm going out of town on the 15th, if you see my dilemma) Anyways, first lady says "Oh it shows here your order has had back order removed already, tracking number to arrive anytime" REALLY? Awesome.

Not. Check online later: still back ordered. I call again, the CSR confirms back order. I get put through to a supervisor because of the odd situation, and he says yes its on back order again (duh). Then for some reason he pulls up the 16GB inventory and it shows none. Lovely.
