I finally broke down and ordered. So much for trading in at Radio Shack.

if you're in the Chicago area, the Michigan Ave store has had 32s in stock this week, at least in the morning. I got mine as a walk-in today, around noon

same thing for me, I plan on trying to go the whole weekend without checking the order status..

Cancled my AT&T order today, and went to the Apple store and bought an 16gb. HOWEVER, AT&T said i wasnt eligible for the upgrade... Im very disappointed, considering the rep on the phone told me its instant. Everyone on here had instant eligibility, wtf...

This will be my first Iphone since the Original a few years ago. That phone became VERY slow once the "App" store came out and I put more than 5 on it.
Then I was on a roadtrip and was using the "old" gps just to keep track of my position and the phone began to smoke and I now have a nice paper weight, a relic of sorts.

Bought my BF an iPhone 4. I ordered it 5 days (7/18) before I ordered my own. Regretting it now. His came today and mine is still on BO. Ugh. I compared the screen on his to my 3GS and it is like night and day. I cannot wait to have mine. From the sounds of it though I have a minute to wait. I am guessing by the end of next week or early the week after. Ugh. I cannot wait, though, obviously, I have to.

Not sure if this is the right thread, but I'm wondering if anyone has had a similar issue. I ordered my 32GB iPhone4 yesterday via my employer's AT&T Premier site, and I'm trying to port my number from Verizon to AT&T. I got an e-mail saying they need more info to port the number and to contact them at the Premier 866 number (even though I filled out all required fields).
The issue I'm having now is that I called them last night, and was on hold for 55 minutes before giving up. I tried to call back this morning but they're closed until Monday (talk about Premier service). Any suggestions on how to get through? I tried the regular AT&T 800 number and they said they can't help me since it's a Premier order. I think the iPhone is cool and all but if this is the kind of service I'm going to get I don't know if it's worth it.

I don't know much about working with premier. I am a premier customer, but I placed my order in an AT&T store. What I can tell you though is working with the AT&T reps in the store was much more enjoyable than working with the Sprint employees in store. At Sprint I always felt like I was saying the wrong thing, asking the wrong questions, and generally wasting their time. At AT&T any rep I worked with was very interested in what I had to say and finding solutions for my issues. I hope this carries through to phone service as well, but you will always hear good and bad about any cell phone company. No one has 100% customer satisfaction. I just hope your luck gets better come Monday.
