**AT&T iPhone 4 Order Status Thread**

based on what I've seen here, it will go by the regular website..there is hope for you though, they still take things off backorder of the weekend and there is a lot of phones moved on Tuesday so I would bet you get your phone on or before Thursday.

I'm guessing based on review of this thread (and only review of this thread) that you will come off backorder on Tuesday, as AT&T apparently only gets shipments from Apple on Tuesdays, and you will hopefully have in hand on Thursday. Whether you get it or not might depend what time on Thursday you are leaving, and also whether they ship overnight or two day.

That's awesome. I intend on leaving Thursday night, but worst comes to worst I can leave Friday, by which it really needs to be here.
 
Got mine!!!

32 GB, walk-in at Michigan Ave at 11:45 AM. Called in at 10:50 and booked it there.

Canceled my 16 GB Apple.com order from 7/20 when I got back home.

What day does the regular order site say you ordered? For me premier says 19 and regular says 21
 
Holy crap!

Just got off the phone with my local Apple store and they have 32's in stock! Just called AT&T to cancel my order and my upgrade status has already been reset :)

Leaving to go get my ip4 right now! Good luck to all those waiting.

FYI- if you're in MD the Columbia Apple store has "a lot" (Apple rep) of both in stock!

What number did you call to cancel your order? I called AT&T Customer Service and I am on hold because she said "Sometimes they can, and sometimes they can't cancel ordered."

Mine is still backordered and I only ordered two days ago online.

If she doesn't get my order cancelled I am going to be completely p****d.

If you are going to call to cancel your ONLINE AT&T order, call 1-866-391-0749. That's the online sales department. They canceled my order and reset my eligibility instantly. Make sure you cancel ASAP because they said even if you iPhone is backordered, they can't cancel your order if they've processed an order to get your iPhone into their warehouse.

I ordered 7/23 Premier for a 16GB; shows ordered 7/23 on both order status checkers.
Still on Backorder...
Can anyone provide an estimate?
Does a Premier order take longer? :mad:
 
this damn phoe takes 4ever to get here....i ordered mine over da phone on 7/12 and barley got the damn thing yesterday, 07/29...that was 17 days, sheesh they need to think of a faster route, i was already gettin impatient and about to cancel everything, lol
 
Does anyone know how I can cancel my in store pre-order? I tried calling that number (866 391 0749) but it's only for online orders, right? It told me it couldn't find my order.

The 3 Apples stores within a close distance to me have a plethora of iPhones in stock and I'm sick of waiting. I know it seems silly to this impatient over a device, but it sucks to know I could pick one up right now instead of waiting a week.
 
I do not even know what is going on with my iPhone 32GB. Ordered it on 7/28 through AT&T Premier, updated my billing info on 7/29 as per their request, and am not receiving any good info for what is happening with my phone. I understand if it were to say backordered but it just has the three little boxes and says "processing" *check*. It's also weird because it says "New Service" when this is an upgrade of an iPhone 3G. Can anyone help me to see what is going on (honestly, i'm not gonna wade through 365 pages and counting to find the answer)? I am just hoping I timed this perfectly because I want the phone to be delivered somewhat close to when I arrive back to the states.

People who ordered on 7/18 are still on BO. You've probably got another week.
 
Picked up my 32GB today. :)

Non premier, ordered 7/23 in store.

7/30 @ noon off BO
7/30 @ 8 shipping information- FedEx (no info up on their site yet) :)

Ordered a 16GB, in store, the same day as you. Nothing yet. Did you get an email tracking your phone? AT&T told me i'd get a tracking email so i'd know when i need to pick it up. I've not gotten anything.

where are you in SC? they just opened an apple store in greenville. and then there's the one in charleston. anyway, i ordered from at&t on the 21st and it's still on backorder. 16gb.
