**AT&T iPhone 4 Order Status Thread**

I had the Otterbox defender on my 3G, and you could basically throw your phone and it still be perfect. The defender is on the big side, so I think the Commuter is slimmer and still keeps it protected pretty good. Probably too masculine for you :p

Yeah, I am just northeast of Fort Worth, but it is still shipping to me tomorrow :rolleyes: Can't wait!!!

my iphone is supposed to be delivered to the att store today...

it says on the fedex tracking "out for delivery"


What time do these things usually get tot the store?
 
My phone left Ft Worth, TX at 2:15am today...and has arrived in Atlanta, GA at 9:33am!! :D :D :D :D :D :D

Now let's pray to the iPhone gods that there are no glitches that delay this. If I have to wait until Monday I may go nuts!
 
curious, what is everyones turn around time from back order to prepared for shipment to shipped. I ordered 16gb off att.com 8/3 and am just curious . Thanks

Just so you know, there is a difference between in-store order and website...and on website, there's a difference between Premier and Regular...and then there's also a difference in 16gb and 32gb turnaround times.

So, that said, I ordered:

16gb
7/24
via the AT&T Premier website
on backorder until around 11am 8/4
shipping info received around 5:30pm 8/4
due for delivery 8/6 by 4:30pm

Turnaround time for me, if delivered 8/6, was 13 days.

I just placed my order today on-line, and from a friend that works in a corporate store what I can gather it's anywhere from 7-14 business days. In-store, they are quoting 10 business days for a 16 or 32gb unit. That said, she told me that it is usually taking 10-14 business days. I was told that your on-line status won't change until an order number has been applied to a physical unit. Once they have that established, you should see the status updated.

That probably didn't help you any did it?

that did help, thank you. * i ordered regular online (not premier ) and im hearing around 9 business days from the time ordered til shipped. I had originally ordered from apple but i heard the turn around time was much faster for att orders . anyway, thanks

7/26/10 - 16GB, ATT Premier website
Off of backorder 8/4/10 around 10:30am
Received shipping information about 5pm
Will receive it tomorrow 8/6/10...so about 9 business days for me.
 
Ordered 7/23 in an AT&T store (16GB) and it came in at about 11AM. Perfect. No pixels out and the absolute most i could make it drop is one bar, usually none. About time, yay! :)

Exact same situation for me. I really didn't anticipate receiving my iPhone 4 until at least the 2nd week in August, so receiving it tomorrow is a pleasant surprise.

I just have to survive 8 hours of work tomorrow.

The Otterbox Defender is superb when it comes to to overall protection. Someone people complain about the look of the case but I personally value protection over aesthetics.

One thing to note, however, is that there have been some complaints about a "rainbow effect" with the screen protector. Generally it's only a small section in the middle that gets a rainbow shimmer effect but some have reported it getting worse as time goes on.
 
7/25 16gb premier

i got my notification of shipping today (finally!), but what's retarded is that i live about 20 miles from fort worth and the scheduled delivery date is still monday...:mad:

Good to know...thanks. I'll have to look into it. I definitely don't want a crack in this one like I got in my 3GS!
 
Shipping delay

My tracking number shows it was picked up in Fort Worth at 7:30 this morning but nothing has been updated since then. Scheduled for Monday delivery. I just would have expected it to have been updated by now.

I ordered on 7/26 and got off BO yesterday.

yeah, i had read that. who knows, maybe fedex will still surprise me. it'd be awesome if i got the phone tomorrow since i'm going to be a passenger on a road trip this weekend. but then again, i've waited this long, i guess a couple more days won't kill me.:)

My mother ordered one from Apple (on the phone) on Monday. The rep told her that it would be three weeks or 15 business days. Apparently phones are going to the carrier(s) first.
