Stevo: My tracking numbers aren't recognized either. They show but when you drill down for info it tells you it's not recognized. I guess it just went in the system and they haven't updated the actual progress detail yet.

TheSponge81: Ordered mine at or around 11AM ET on the 15th on the AT&T site. The Apple site was slammed so I went the other route and somehow the order took with AT&T.

The issue is, I dont see a charge on my bank account any more. I saw a auth hold... but thats now gone...

On the status pages, does anyone know if those get updated multiple times per day? Or just once per day?

AFAIK the only time the page gets updated is when there is a change in status. If that happens more than once per day, then you'll see multiple updates. If it doesn't happen for days at a time, then you won't see any updates for days at a time. I don't believe there is anyway to track these changes besides actually seeing them as they happen. Don't believe there is any kind of log or anything.
 
For people that update us when they receive carrier tracking info, please include what time of day you ordered the phone. All times Eastern. This way we can see if orders really are being processed as they were received.

I received my iPhone CSS email a couple of hours ago and just checked my upgrade elgibility and it's now gone. Just put my iPhone 3GS up for sale on CL for $250. I think I may try eBay as well. I just do not like eBay fees.

Yes, can you ask if orders for 32gb phones placed on the morning of 6/15 will be shipped by the 24th? There are a bunch of us that ordered early that morning (me, at 8:15a.m. 6/15) and there has been no movement since that morning..so what gives? Thanks..I keep trying but can't get through.
 
so I got shipment information, just like a lot of people now, I ordered through a retail store on the 6/15 at 1:44pm east/time
 
With all of the questions and speculations about why some orders have shipped and not others, I figured I would throw my idea out here. Maybes it depends on where it is being delivered to. For example, I live in Austin TX. As the distro center for AT&T is in Ft. Worth I am sure it will not take as long as others. Maybe those that are further are being shipped first to allow enough time?

Here is where I'm at, and the only reason I'm posting is not because I think people care about me, but maybe this will help someone else.

On the 15th, I got to the payment page on ATT (not Premier) ~11am central. It timed out, with no indication that it went through. So, I kept trying.

At 2:51pm, I finally get through (ATT), and get a confirmation (no email though). Thought all was fine...the morning of the 16th I get an email saying the order was canceled. I login to my ATT account, and see that an order is there, with an entirely different order number. However, the order number is higher than my order that went through, so I'm not sure all order numbers increment absolutely. Evidently the order from 11am did indeed go through, and the one from 2:51 was canceled.

Anyway, I have an order that on the order status shows as ordered on the 16th (common, I know). I finally had time to sit on hold just a few moments ago so I called and asked about the two orders, time the order went through, etc. I very friendly CSR told me (after 18 mins on hold fyi) that orders are still being marked as shipped, and that "it appeared" mine would receive shipping information later today.

So, hopefully this gives us hope. Earlier people were saying people with a shown order date of the 16th hadn't yet gotten any shipping info, but according to her (whatever it's worth), that doesn't necessarily mean anything. Mine has shown as ordered the entire time; never backordered.
 
If these are being shipped overnight, then the tracking numbers might not start working until Wednesday.

They could be printing out the labels and stacking the boxes up to the ceiling at the warehouse, but FedEx won't actually pick them up, scan the labels and put them on the truck for another two days. So I'm not expecting my tracking number to work for another day or two.

I'm here in irving Tx right outside of Ft worth and still no update. :mad:
 
still no shipment info... cant get to talk to a live person on att end, the lnp is confirmed for my old number, and the bank confirmed there is no hold/problem on any payment whatsoever on my credit card...
 
I ordered June 15th at 4:10am est. My order showed that the phone was back ordered up until yesterday. I received my tracking number this morning.

She said as long as we do not get cancellation notices we will get our phones - we might not get any updates until we get our phones

I ordered the exact same time as you.
