ATT said that every order would be shipped overnight on the 23rd for a 24th delivery. She also said that my order date was the 16hth and not the 15th....So apparently it doesn't pay to be premier......You get shoved to the BACK of the line.

The only rhyme/reason I can think of is this:
A. Order dates of 6/15 (via order status) got priority b/c they went in 'clean'
B. Order dates of 6/16 (via order status) go next, but might be in the initial wave of deliveries
C. Product probably came on pallets of like model. They may be working through their 16GB pallets before moving onto their 32GB pallets. From a shipping/delivery standpoint it doesn't make sense to have pallets inter-mingled w/ differant stock numbers.
D. If 'C' is right, I would imagine we'd see waves of 16GB orders light up, followed by a few 32s intermixed, followed by mostly 32s.
So maybe there are loads of 32GB w/ 6/16 order dates that still have to be scanned in.
I hope anyway.

If it's overnight then some might not update for one (or two!) more days.
Mine is listed as the 16th, too, even though I ordered the morning of the 15th and I'm not premier.
This seems to be the general idea... Your order date is literally your position in line. If it reads the 15th (as mine does), you *should* be shipped by now regardless of if you purchased a 16 or 32.
If it reads the 16th, I wouldn't at all lose hope. It probably just means you'll be processed late this evening or tomorrow.
Any later though, and if you are *still* flagged as backordered.. I'd probably make other plans. [unqualified opinion after following every post in this thread]

Here, 32 GB. I ordered at 5:30 AM eastern on the 15th. My order status has always shown 6/15 as the date, and has never shown backorder. As of this morning, the order shows shipped, FEDX, and tracking number.
Premiere order here... ordered my 16gb at about 140pm EST time on 6/15. Still have this:
Same exact statuses as me. I ordered 6/15 1:50PM PST.
I placed my order on the 15th through AT&T website. Went through the whole process and got an order number. Never got a confirmation email. AT&T is now claiming that they never got the order, and even if they did probably won't be shipping by the 24th. They made it sound like they weren't planning on fulfilling many orders by the promised delivery date.
They basically said that if I got it I would have it. If not, I'd have to place a new order and hope that maybe I'd get it eventually.
If that new Sprint EVO 4G weren't so damned big, AT&T would have already lost my business.

I got the 16gig, she got the 32, hers is being shipped to her house, mine to the store.... come on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
