**AT&T iPhone 4 Order Status Thread**

I got lots of craziness going on here. I received confirmation of my iPhone 4 order at 1:23pm ET on Tuesday June 15th. Below is the status of my order when I use the link provided in the confirmation e-mail and my order number.
Now here is the order status I get when I use the "Check Order Status" link in my ATT profile and my cell number.
And finally there is the message I get when I enter my order number with "Check Order Status" link in my profile on ATT.
Basically I think what this boils down to is that I won't be getting my iPhone on Thursday. Which is beat because my sell date for my 3GS is July 8th.

Has anyone with tracking info confirmed whether the ATT orders are coming from China or the US?
Don't search by order number, as your actual order number is different than the one the Premier site gave you. Use your mobile phone number instead.
I got my confirmation email at 11:45AM or so on the 15th. So it still looks like they are doing it in an order that makes database sense and no other.

Dates are 15th on the premier page and 16th on the regular att page.
Yep, same as mine (although I ordered at 07:45 hrs on 6/15). Reading the posts here we are either screwed for 6/24 or it will be there.

I got my order for a 32GB iPhone in at 10:16 AM on 6/15 through the Premier site and got my confirmation instantly. I have an order date of 6/15 on both the Premier and Regular order status pages but it's showing as backordered on the regular site. I hope they just haven't gotten to me yet, as I should definitely be in before the cutoff and I have a 6/15 order date .
.From what I've been reading, the date on the AT&T page suggests your position in line. Almost all of the 16 GBs listed on the 15th have shipped, but there are still some 32s out there that haven't.
I haven't seen a single shipping confirmation on any of the forums (that is creditable) for someone listed as the 16th as of yet (premier order date doesn't matter), but it's probably less of an actual order date then a batch number.
Those who ordered really early (and only really early) seem to have accurate dates of the 15th, and those that were before the cutoff seem to have dates of the 16th, but I'd imagine you're still assured a phone.. Those that were after the cutoff seem to have dates listed as the 17th or later.. I'd make other arrangements if my order date was listed that late..

Don't worry - all preorders placed on the 15 will be shipped for delivery on the 24th. I ordered mine at around 6PM EST on the 15th and it's shipped. Some who placed earlier than me don't have status shipped yet. I suppose ATT has its own strategy to speed up the processing and shipping (although the order of process is not FCFS), to keet their promise to deliver phones on the 24th, especially for those who placed their orders before the cut off time on the 15th. So, if you ordered your phone(s) before the cut off time and the status is in progress, I would recommend --- sit back and relax... until this Thursday.

online order status showed up 6/16 with back-ordered 1, att acknowledge number transfer on 6/16, confirmed on the same day
received "recent online att order" email on 6/17 and back-ordered changed to 0; nothing changed as of now

I haven't gotten that email but I haven't gotten any emails because mine was entered manually. I'm just supposed I'll call and ask. No harm no foul.
Actually, I've seen a few people in the page 10 pages with the same dates and phone model as me get theirs shipped. I really just think it's their own process.
That being said, since I ordered mine on time I will be upset if I don't get it on time.

I just checked and I have a FED EX tracking number. My status just changed in the last 3 mins. I ordered 6/15 4:18pm EST. YAYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!! Ordered through regular Att.

My order started with 5051 and I received a CSS email this morning as well. What a relief!!!!!!!!
