Ordered before 2 AM PST on Oct 7th. My status is still "In Process";
First email stating ready to ship: October 7, 2011 1:53:49 AM PDT
Second email stating shipped to warehouse: October 7, 2011 4:09:44 PM PDT

Again, the AT&T rep at the local store told me there might be a problem with the 64GB models being shipped on time.

Which one did you NOT get shipped?

I ordered a black 64GB Friday afternoon. Mine is on it's way. So I don't think that's it. More likely is AT&T's stupid systems aren't updating consistently.

There are stories of people last year getting their's despite not getting updates so I wouldn't worry too much.
 
Can somebody with an origin scan of DFW post a screenshot? Here's what mine looks like.

Edit: Looks to me like yours was picked up from some distribution center and perhaps ours the UPS location IS the distribution center. :confused:

Don't know how to post screen shots, but mine looks exactly like yours!
 
Mine looks a bit different. It is NEXT DAY AIR rather than AIR SAVER. It also lists no expected delivery date. I am not sure if I need to be awake in the morning in case they stop by (I have class afternoon) or just assume it will be Friday like I expect.

I suppose waking up early to check the tracking status would not hurt.

I hate to b the guy to break the bad news but apparently I got off the phone earlier today with an AT&T rep who told me the time you "ordered" your phone differs from the time you received the "AT&T processed email" .... In my case... I ordered 2 phones in 2 separate orders

1 32gb black
1 64gb white...

Both were ordered online at 4:10am EST.... Then I had fraud alert and cleared it OVER THE PHONE WITH AN AT&T REP! Who clearly stated that both orders went through at 11am on 10/07/11.... About an hour later I get the confirmation email from AT&T confirming they processed one order... And then I get the second emal... On 10/10/11 at 1:30pm....

Because they decided to process one faster than the other (which doesn't make sense since I cleared it over the phone with an AT&T associate AT THE SAME TIME!.... Only one of my phones was shipped and now the other stays back ordered....

Go back through your emails and look for the date and time it was "processed" email.... It's different from the confirmation email that u get immediately after u placed the order...

Based on the date from the second email... If your order was processed after 5:30pm on 10/07/11 then ur getting the second shipment... Doesn't matter if u ordered it earlier... It matters about the time it was "processed" by AT&T....

Due to the fact that AT&T decided to process my 2nd phone 3 days late.... I am know having to expect my second order between the 21-28 day gap.... FUN!!! (sarcasm)

After all the run around I got from AT&T... This was the most useful information I received after all the crap I had to deal with.... And unfortunately it wasn't what I wanted to hear....

If you're still in back order by now.... Face it... We're not getting it on launch.... Unless by some miracle they process it over night... But that would b wishful thinking coming from AT&T....

I don't think this is correct. I ordered on the 7th at 12:45am MST but I didn't get my "processed" email until the 8th and my 32gb white is at a UPS facility in TN right now waiting to fly to my doorstep on Friday.

Sorry that happened to you tho. Maybe it will still arrive on Friday!

This is what my processing email says:

Your iPhone has been reserved and is expected to be delivered on Oct 14, 2011.

I ordered 10/7 4:30am and received order confirmation emails right after order. I didn't get the processing emails till Tues night then shipped emails we'd afternoon with Fedex track info shipped 10/10 although my tracking #'s still don't work yet all of the emails say the same at the beginning:

Your iPhone has been reserved and is expected to be delivered on Oct 14, 2011.

Will let ya know if Fedex track info starts working.

Mine's identical, except mine has Next Day Air Saver.

Oddly enough though, I haven't received any shipping email from AT&T yet.:confused:

I am in South Carolina, and I have had packages from UPS overnight before ship out early in the morning and make it to the hub and on the truck for delivery by 8am. It's usually a speedy process.

That said, if there have been instructions to hold these and not deliver them until Friday, it may be irrelevant. They could make it to our local destination and sit in the holding facility till Friday.

I set an alarm at 9. I can always fall back asleep if it isn't showing it out for delivery.

I got another confirmation email from AT&T and under tracking number, it says the number and "Due to high demand, your shipment information may be delayed. Please try again later or contact the shipping carrier."

So that explains why almost none of the tracking numbers are working.
 
FedEx tracking numbers are starting to go live!

My sisters order shows the package will be picked up 10/13 and delivered 10/14 by 3:00pm. My order tracking number still doesn't pull up in FedExs system, hopefully soon.
 
I ordered 10/7 at 7am PST on ATT's mobile site, I have a premier account. I got the UPS tracking # this afternoon around 5 and just now I saw that it has been scanned at DFW airport TX. All correspondence are showing shipped and to be arrived on 10/14. :eek:

Hope this will help you guys that's still in the dark.

That's good to hear! I didn't get my tracking # until 1:40 AM PST time yesterday so I expect my tracking # to show up in the system around the same time.
