AT&T iPhone 4S Pre-Order Status Thread

32GB Black, ordered from AT&T at 5:15AM on 10/7, just shipped. No record of the tracking number with FedEx as of yet, though.

I'm noticing that all the AT&T ship dates are listed as either 10/9 or 10/11. I wonder if the 10/9 folks will hit the early iPhone jackpot this year...

Checked this morning expecting nothing (figured we'd get tracking this afternoon) and my white 16GB 4S has a ship date of 10/9, awesome!
Like others, Fedex site does not show my tracking info. But if they shipped on 10/9 I don't see any issue at all with them getting it to me on the 14th... not that I was expecting any trouble anyway.

I ordered at 2:30AM on Friday and my ship date is 10/12/11
I ordered last friday right as the store opened at 8am eastern time. The tracking info does not work yet though.
Not one you'll get through to in under 90 minutes of hold time...
Also, they don't know much more than we do, especially when it comes to checking on your individual order. So it would almost certainly be a waste of your morning.
Ordered mine 4:30 AM EST on friday, mine got shipped 10/9/11 from what my apple order now says!!
I need answers, so any info would be appreciated.
The $217 pending charge on my credit card went away yesterday. This morning, my status on the att website says it has been shipped, and I have a tracking number. However, I still have no charge, not even pending on my credit card. Could this just be because maybe they really didn't ship and that a shipment label has been assigned??

16GB White finally shipped , I have a premier account but ordered via regular pre-order site thru AT&Ts main page at 5AM EST.
32GB White moved from backordered to Processing last night, still not yet shipped.
on a side note, when trying to order from both AT&T and Apple on Pre-order morning, i managed to get a "reservation" on the 16GB line from Apple's site. I completed that order as well.
Its a parallel order to the 16GB white that just shipped from AT&T (upgraded the same line) so i'm assuming it will be automatically cancelled, but the order went to "Preparing for shipment" on the 10th.
AT&T posted Authorizations for the two phones on my CC as well as Apple.
I was afraid with the 16GB having two orders on the same line it was going to be the problem child of my orders. Neither Apple nor AT&T could tell him whom i should cancel with so i figured they would work it out between themselves. Ironically now it is the 32GB that i am getting worried about since they were placed seconds apart from each other yet the 32GB has been lagging in order update speed.

WOOO! Tomorrow maybe?! Weird that both shipping dates are different. Neither Fed Ex tracking is active yet...
I'm so glad its Fed Ex also - We must be at the end of our UPS route because they don't show up until about 6PM.

i understand, but the only reason id like to call is because they are the only ones who can tell me the status of the order. i cannot check online since i ordered over the phone with CSR.

Last year many people who preordered the iP4 got charged a day or two after receiving their phone.

Did you download ITunes 10.5 yet, you'll need that for IOS 5?
