Has anyone that got just the 6S received a text? I keep seeing people that have gotten the plus receiving them. Maybe they processing those orders first?
 
Thanks. I hope everyone who ordered the plus early can get it on launch day too. I still don't understand why they wouldn't receive any for preorder from Apple.


Nobody seems to know the facts on how Apple doles out allotments to carriers for pre orders. I've read and heard so many different "facts" concerning the issue and they rarely jive with each other. Some of these have been from ATT and Apple employees. It's a mystery I guess!

My bet is that most people will have their phones on launch day of you ordered on the 12th.
 
Well then I will just wait for them to update mine :) it did go through later (6 am cst) though. Maybe that's part of why I haven't received the text yet.

I ordered the 6s (64gb) and the 6s Plus (128gb) for me and the wife and we both got the same text. I ordered around 2:01 am central time.
 
Premiere here. I preordered a gold 64 gig S+ yesterday at 11:45 am central time, and I received the text about an hour ago.
 
My wife and I both got the text. But we are thinking of cancelling our orders and going for the Apple upgrade program.
 
I am Premier and ordered a 6s 64gb Rose Gold, and just got the text at 8:48 eastern time. My shipping date is 9/24, not 9/25 like a lot of people are reporting, but it could be wrong...hope not!

i ended up grabbing a 128g space grey from the apple website. I bought it outright that shouldn't change my plan doing it like that should it? (Unlimited data) and do i have to take it to the att store to set it up?

This is the exact one I ordered. I have a 9/24 ship date too, but no text. Makin' me anxious over here.
 
I received my text tonight at 8:34 pm EST. I ordered the 6s 64gb before 03:00 on AT&T Premire account with a scheduled ship date of 9/24. I hope this doesn't mean it's going to be as late as the plus sizes. :eek:
 
but where? in the text? or the order status page updated?

I can see my shipping date when I click the "check my order" button in the confirmation email I was sent. It takes you right to the webpage. My status says "preparing for shipment" like yours. When I text to check the status it says "in progress". Not sure why the difference.
