It's just a guess, based on the trends I've seen in this thread over the past couple of days that lead me to believe this is less of a supply problem and more of a logistics issue. I could be completely and utterly wrong. It's been known to happen.

Why should I have to answer that at all? i don't work at AT&T and any answer I give to that would be pure speculation.

All I know is AT&T didn't break any written promises here.

In black and white for all who ordered to see, they gave us October dates.

AT&T might not have broken any written promises but they also did not properly inform us in my opinion . If I order something and it says you won't get it till 30 days from now uses because I'm ordering something from Hong Kong minutes maybe coming by ship because I'm order it directly from the manufacture . If I get up early in the morning and do a pre-order thing and then they give you dates say October 16 and say bathroom you're coming why say in process . If something is truly backordered meeting my product has not yet been created not it's sitting in a boat somewhere sitting on a shelf somewhere just let just Akley it has not been sent to me . I think a lot of people like me believed it was more logistics .yes we all fall the different news post about back like issues at whole bunch of other issues that were affecting the 6Sp. And if it's totally not in a titis control and they're totally blame less then so be it but come out and tell us . Like most on here I've been following other forms on other sites for the past week and there are a lot of fear is going around that it's to do with the two-year commitment or grandfather data because of a lot of others Who ordered a lot later including this past week I've gotten their phones while others who are on a two-year commitment have no sight of getting there until the end of October yes there's exceptions to the rule but the majority of people on these forms looking for their phones fall into the latter category . If they came out right now on Facebook or someplace and said we're sorry we were had by so many of the items backordered and if I went to check my status and it said the same delivery date the backorder I would feel better but right now and since the beginning they've been giving you the illusion that it's right around the corner why because they don't want you to leave though that Kinda do what they wanted to do was switch to next causing go pick up at Best Buy or the Apple Store So you'll still be with AT&T but off the two-year plan and onto next or buy it out right.
Well I think I've made up for a week worth of post in one post so I'll lend it now my two cents
 
The same thing happened to me which is why I had to order through the ATT app. I verified on the apple site days before preorder that I would be fine to upgrade. It comes down to preorder time and boom contract can be verified or some crap. So I hopped over to ATT and ordered at 3:30 AM EST. I could have had my order in earlier had the Apple site not been d***ing me around.

I think that AT&T did not have enough bandwidth. I recall reading another guy with the same problem. Said he hit the "try Again" button a dozen times and finally it connect and allowed him order. We should have kept trying ;-(
 
I lived in a complex last year, and the package was left in the office. This year I live in a house, and they've left the package outside. It's makes me a little nervous to know my poor baby is there alone while I'm at work, but I've had packages delivered before and left on the front door without any issues.

Oh phew okay. I was hoping so, because my neighborhood is decent but I don't trust anyone so I feel like someone would be tempted to just steal my **** just because it's out there chillin'
 
I just went to two ATT Stores in MPLS, MN....they have a "boatload" of 6s & no Plus's one store had a few & they sold out the other didn't receive theirs yet....
Called a store close to me have Borland of plus rose gold 64 but can't sell to me cause 2 yr thing

Ordered all three phones between 315-330am EST on 9/12

FedEx trucks keep passing by but none have turned into the driveway yet. The torture!
I'm working from home today for this reason. Sitting here with my work Macbook Pro and personal Macbook Air in front of the front window of my house. No sign of them yet...

That sucks! I just didn't want to get it a month later like I did last year so I jumped the gun!
 
For those of you who have received your phone, did you get notification beforehand? Or, were you never notified and you were pleasantly surprised that it showed up?

I hope I'm the latter, because I have yet to see my order status change.

Curious of this as well. My guess is notification of shipment was received or sent though.
 
I asked this before but did not get a response. Maybe the second time will work.

When should I expect my account to be charged for my new phone? I ordered on 9/12 and 12:04 PST. 64GB SG 6S+. My account had a hold for the $400 for the first few days after the pre order but it eventually dropped off. My phone is out for delivery right now. This is my first preorder so I am not sure how it works. Anyone know when they typically apply the charges for an upgrade?

Typically, or atleast what happened to my brothers phone, I got an email notifying me that my order has shipped at 6:30 pm yesterday and then i was given a tracking number to then continue tracking the order from FT Worth, TX to be delivered today by 8pm

I received an email this morning letting me know that it was on the truck for delivery and that it was scheduled to be delivered today before 8 P.M

What other color could he mean by "black" It is the only one with a black bezel, which is what you look at most, which is what I am sure many people identify as the color of the phone.

I still call my silver 5s a "white" iPhone (going with a black 6s+ this time)
Same here. I have a gold 5S that will be going to my daughter tonight, she just doesn't know it yet. I've got a space grey 6S+ coming sometime today. I don't know if I'm more excited to get my new phone or to give her my old one, she's going to be so excited!

I was wondering the same. Maybe us 64 gb 6s+ rose gold people will be surprised at our doors today lol...but that's a big maybe.
