AT&T: iPhone 6S/6S Plus Pre-Order Thread!

The best buy option is a good one for anyone that is looking for GUARANTEED launch day availability. Between AT&T and Best Buy, I now have 2 orders from each (I like to have fallback options). The best buy store manager told me that if you select a specific store online, it will tell you if they will have a specific model on release date. You just have to go to the model you want and click pre-order and then select a store near you. He said they are pulling all in-store inventory and giving it to those that pre-ordered. I was able to get a 64gb iPhone 6S Plus in Rose Gold and another iPhone 6S Plus 64gb in Regular gold. Both are sitting safely at the best buy store already.

I spoke with a rep from AT&T. They said they don't have stock of the 6s+ in any gb configuration on launch day.

I will find out Friday if Best Buy has it or not. They do give you a timetable for letting you know. But it's like AT&T and it shows 9/25 right now.

I cancelled my AT&T order, but low and behold I do not know the AT&T account Passcode to prove I'm eligible for an upgrade?

I cancelled mine (says ship day through att would be around October 20 so wouldn't be to overkill if best buys lying)

I was told it would take up to no more than 24 hours, and cleared and was eligible to upgrade through best buy in no more than 3 minutes
 
I'm looking for suggestions. I preordered my AT&T 64GB Space Grey iPhone and it has a Sept 24th ship date. I have since found out that my boyfriend is getting Space Grey as well and now I'm thinking I want to switch to Rose Gold. I got the new phone by upgrading my 2-year contract. The only way to get the 64gb Rose Gold on launch day is to preorder through Best Buy and pick up in store. Will they honor the 2-year contract prices? Suggestions?

it and miss out on the BB stock while it last. Waiting for my account to clear. That's if the really have stock. Lol

No one will take the 2-year contract subsidy pricing except AT&T. If you don't mind waiting, then I would say cancel the order and wait for the Rose Gold to become available. If you're going to spend that much money, might as well get the color you want for the next 2 years.

They only do the next program or full price payment as you can see if you try to go through checkout on bestbuy.com

Yeah. All I know is it better be available like it said. Otherwise I am going to go and raise hell in the bestbuy store..
Regardless the one I want if I go ahead and preorder through att again still has same ship dates lol
