I'd bet that percentage is a bit high, l I'd like to see a poll by Saturday about who got their 6s+ on Friday.

Me : I ordered the new iPhone 6s Plus within 15 minutes of it going live on the ATT site last Friday night. My order has said October 16-23 since. I've heard that this is just a placeholder date since people who ordered from other sites even a day later are shown ship dates of Sept 25. Am I going to have to wait almost 30 days for my new phone?

For every one of those conversations that someone has posted, there's another conversation that someone else has posted that says the exact opposite. I'm fairly sure when the reps get these questions they just hit the "Random Script" button and read from that.
LOL I agree, but for a bit of background story, I had already done a chat a day or two before order night. I told ATT that I was upset that I was only allowed to order through their site to keep my grandfathered data. I got escalated to a supervisor who assured me that ordering through ATT on launch night would be just as fast as ordering through Apple. (I grilled him pretty hard about the phone availability and my data plan.) So I made them take notes of that and put them in my account. When I had the above mentioned chat, I told her to read the notes in the account and that I had ordered right within 15 minutes of launch. She verified the notes, and as you can see assured me there would be no issues.
Who knows, it's a glimmer of hope for those with 6S+ on order. So much talk of delay recently.

I am hoping that is correct and all of us that did order within the first 15min of them going on sale will get our 6S+ on launch day.
As of c.8PM EST my iPhone order still says "Preparing for shipment". I believe that I will receive it Friday. I ordered shortly after 3AM when preorders opened via the apple.com site. I've read that some phones will be overnighted so I am wondering if some were already in the states so that's why? The last two times I got a scarcer iPhone model, I'd see it come from China. This time I got a Rose Gold iPhone 6s plus with 128GB storage. Anyone else still showing "Preparing for shipment"? My credit card was charged last Thursday (9/17) but it's just a hold so far.
AT&T has now updated my status to "Preparing for Shipment" and they apparently are going to overnight the phone to me on Friday. Sweet.
