Not in the order field.. It says "available for in-store pickup 9/25". The words "or later" don't appear until after you place the pre-order and checkout. It's false advertising to suck you in.
There is still a chance that BB might have the iPhone 6s Plus in your location and AT&T won't. I like my chances with both AT&T or BB. Then just waiting on AT&T. Last year 3 to 4 days before launch I had a tracking number by now. I don't think AT&T would wait till Thursday to overnight all of the iPhones.
 
Exactly. I told the worker there when he said I may not get it on shipment day that if I don't i will raise hell and he just gave me a dirty look. I told him that false advertisement crap won't fly
Thinking back now - I don't know why we'd think that we could beat the system by going thru Best Buy - when ATT themselves couldn't complete our 6S+ orders. Certainly Apple wouldn't favor BB over the carrier stores. We were suckered in by false advertising.

I'm truly not too concerned. Just gonna be mad over false advertisement...The guy int he phone center said there was a chance I won't get it friday but said most likely will..I will just yell about false advertisement and go to local att store and hope they have some in stock friday

I called last night to check the status of my phone (exact same model and color as yours) and they said that it will ship Thursday and be expedited to me for delivery on Friday. My order was placed at exactly 7:00 edt. Since you placed your order before me (my cousin who works for att placed my order for me) I don't see why you wouldn't get yours Friday as well.

Edit: Did you call AT&T Premier or just the normal AT&T support number? I might give a call myself, because as you can see that chat got me no where!

I ordered from ATT and status is : in progress . Estimated ship dates: October 16, 2015 - October 23, 2015

I ordered at 11a.m. on the 12th.

Any idea if I might get it earlier than Oct. 16?

I had issues with ATT Premier site and gave up after at 4a.m. EST. Apple site was working and I ordered it but cancelled as I wanted to renew 2-year contract. First time ordering from ATT and not happy.
Same time with an iPhone 6S plus, 64GB, gold. I've been hearing(from others) that this happened last year and the dates we in October and even November and they got their phones on launch. If we don't get our phones this Friday, I'm pretty sure we will get them next week or either move up a bunch. They don't send out information until the day before anyway so we will know for sure Thursday!

no. I follow these threads carefully each year. ATT preorder never gives tracking # and shipped email before Thursday. Happened last year just like this. I remember 1 person saying Wednesday.. But they never provided screen shot proof.

This is insane. I have spend a lot of time talking to different reps at ATT and none of them have a clue of the status of the phones. If the phones are not in stock then they are in backordered. Why the hell they do not come clean and say that and keep with the bulls... saying "in progress" or "preparing to ship"? One day a rep tells me it will ship out on time , the next another rep tells me it won't ship out because the phones are not in stock. There has to be a reason why they are handling this so poorly and differently than other carriers. I do not have an answer for that but anyone that have families or close friends in ATT should chime in please

We've been over this 100 times. The ATT model A1634 is different than the A1687 being sent to Verizon & Sprint. A1634 has the LTE30 band for ATT only. Supply chain problems for A1634.

so wait are you trying to say that Apple is going to ship different ATT phones ? There are many people that will get the 6s Plus on Friday if ordered by Apple directly , are they getting a different phone?

Apple Stores only have A1634s... which works on all Carriers. Apple stores have hogged them all.. Allocated maybe 1 million to ATT (though they have 3 million preorders to fill).. And then sent A1687s to Verizon & Sprint.

i called 611 from my cell phone lol. I also did the chat first, but he couldn't tell me anything that I didnt see when checking my order status. I asked the lady I spoke with on the phone when my specific order was going to be delivered and was told friday.

Called and got the laziest rep ever. Waste of my time! Screw it, I am just not going to worry about it anymore!

Why? Not one person in that store has anything to do with how many phones they'll have or the advertising that got you to reserve one. You'll be making lifelong enemies out a lot of people for the unendurable offense of not having any control over the situation.

Just talked to an agent, said the same generic thing about lack of stock and didn't have any more information. Screenshot attached.

(I ordered my Gold 6S+ 64GB at 2:57am EST.)

Ordered my Iphone 6S Plus 64gb Space Gray at 3:07 am EST and my estimated ship date has always been October 16th-23rd. Has anyone's Iphone actually shipped out?

I'm not calling att again until Thursday. If you call in to premier during normal business hours, and get supervisor (first people you speak to after pressing 2 are in the Philippines). They can move your shopping date, get you credits, no upgrade fee, etc. I believe part of the problem w att is that they contract another company to ship stuff for them
