Yeah mine just updated to "Shipped" as well with FedEx tracking number. Checked the tracking number and it says en route coming from TX and scheduled delivery to my front door is "9/25 by 3:00PM EST"

Which is perfect for me since I've been out of town all week for training for my new job. By time I get back home Friday evening my new Space Gray 128GB iPhone 6S will be waiting for me :)

It's a good thing too because my 5S has been lagging quite a bit since the iOS 9 update and I'm kinda over the phone now. I'm ready for the bigger screen and really excited about using the new features.

128 Grey iPhone 6s - shipped, ordered 09/13 Saturday evening.
128 Silver 6s - ordered Friday 3 am EST still processing

I see no justice in this "equation"

I have to leave somebody at home since with Fedex it is always a problem to schedule a pick-up. They ask for 24 hour window, sometimes they had 72 hours in 24-hour window. Tried it plenty of times, but this stubborn company tried to deliver all the time. This is my regional problem, but it is a real one. Att, Fedex and Bank of America are the same group of companies.

Yeah I considered that, but my Dad is always home on Fridays, so he will be able to receive and sign for it. Delivery won't be a problem for me.

On another note, the shipping method from AT&T is allegedly supposed to be "overnight shipping" yet my tracking status indicates that it shipped out Mon 9/21 to deliver Fri 9/25. How can it be overnight shipping yet take 5 days to deliver?

It shipped on 9/21 via FEDEX according to the AT&T website.

No tracking data yet, unfortunately.

It'd be swell if I got it a day early.

Already found somebody waiting for pick-up, but Fedex is really bad company... Not the worst one. There are was DHL, once I sent a package to Toronto, they physically delivered it to somebody in St.Petersburg, Russia, after my calls they went to this person, obtained the package, sent it to Toronto overnight ... and delivered it to me in 2 days. After that they refused refund since "it was delivered not once, but twice" :) CC dispute and I got my (company's) money back.

There is a future delivery date hold placed on the shipments so they aren't supposed to be delivered until launch day (so it will sit at your local delivery hub until then). The delivery companies occasionally make logistical mistakes so some will get them early.

My 128GB Space Grey 6s is now on its way as well. :)

I called a number and it gave me a bit more detail in my order. It said that my order has been processed and is waiting at the warehouse for shipment and that I cannot cancel my order. Does that mean I'll get it Friday? Btw it's a 6S+

AT&T is like every other company. They don't charge your card until the item is shipped. We should see charges on our cards at some point on Wed.

The shipments are, or very soon will be on the way to the main distribution centers. We'll likely get our shipping info once they leave there and head to the local hubs.

There's really nothing to worry about. We'll have our phones Friday.

My card was charged in full on 09/12.

Apple told fedex and ups to hold the deliveries until Friday

Fedex charged them for overnight, who cares.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news, and yea maybe because AT&T Chat reps are all over the place, you can take this with a grain of salt, but this was the response when I asked about the delay of my 6S Plus just now (9/23 @ 6:20am CST):

"AT&T : We’ve seen tremendous demand for the new iPhone models from the moment they became available to pre-order. Apple and its manufacturing partners are working hard to fulfill the demand. In most cases, orders for the smaller 6s models placed on 9/12 will be delivered on or around 9/25. However, orders for most of the 6s Plus models will ship between 10/16 and 10/23. Both Apple and AT&T are working diligently to fullfil orders as quickly as possible and we’re genuinely sorry for any inconvenience."

He obviously copy/pasted it too, he didn't have ample time to type this on his response.

same with my 5S! definitely not as quick since the update. After no changes for over a week, it said "shipped" this morning to be delivered at the same time. I got the 64gb iPhone 6s silver. it's a Festivus miracle!
