this is such garbage. i thought I wouldn't get mad but I am. i'm sitting here with a 3 year old lumia 900 that was ran over twice outside of grand central. i need a new phone immediately. just talked with the at&t chat and they made it seem like i'm not getting my plus on release and that mid october is more likely. i think it's finally time to give up my unlimited plan and stop doing business with this company that clearly has no clue what they're doing.

You know little and assume much. Calm down! :apple:;)

Someone posted this earlier, but these five UPS planes are bringing in iPhones. So I would have to assume that tomorrow we should be getting our tracking numbers, that is if they are bringing us our AT&T phones. Also of note, this is where I have gotten my iPhones shipped from AT&T (Louisville, KY or sometimes Tennessee) the past three years.

So if those flights are really carrying iPhones, looks like we are in business!

:apple:
ive seen a ton more FedEx semis on the interstate today than usual. I'd like to think they are full of iPhones :)

So Louisville, KY gets four planes and Ontario, CA only gets one. If you live on the east coast, you should be feeling good right now! ;)

Nah, they already charged my credit card for the tax on the iPhone and when checking eligibility through Best Buy, it shows my next upgrade is in 2017, which makes sense given the NEXT pricing I chose (18 months.

So can you check your cc statement and verify that the tax already posted to your account? Generally that only happens once the device has shipped. Please let me know thank you. I ordered a 6s on launch and had to pay to upgrade on Next because I upgraded early. That charge was billed separate from the taxes that were due down on the 6s. The cost to upgrade up like the installment I had to pay down already posted and officially came out of my account but the $53 and change for the total one time charge for tax went pending then fell off. Everything about my order seems to be fine so your post worried me a bit. Can you please check and clarify? Thank you.

I live an hour away from Ontario, California, and when I've ordered iPhone online they've come from Kentucky.
That's usually where UPS stages all the phones until they're ready to be overnighted, So that plane heading to CA either doesn't have iphones, or is something new they're doing.

I don't need to deal with anything.

And it's still hearsay. There is no definitive proof. Even if they did speak to a VP and even if those numbers actually are correct, it's still not official and basically boils down to "some guy on the Internet said..."

Now, if it actually were a published article from a reputable source, an AT&T press release, etc. then I would be more inclined to believe it. And it would give more credibility if I needed to speak with someone at AT&T. Hence, asking for the source of said news article.

I call Nonsense on that thread you quoted. No VP of anything said that 3
Mil orders were received. As of 2 days ago you could still order any variation of
The 6s and any size with the exception of maybe the rose gold color and get it by the 25th still. The 6s Plus seems to be way busier.

So correct me then, Apple is selling the A1687 to those doing their upgrade program and the A1634 to those just buying a phone through their respective carrier? I was under the impression based on what I'm seeing in this forum that Apple was only selling the A1634 causing a shortage to AT&T. If they are selling both models depending on the type of purchase that, in my mind anyway, changes things up a bit.
Exactly the opposite is the case.. 1687 (non LTE30) is going to Sprint and Verizon. 1634 (with LTE30) going to ATT (and Apple Stores for all carriers. Hence the shortage).

mine has said the exact same thing since then. I have a friend who preordered through verizons, got her card charged and tracking/ shipping numbers already. ATT is such a pain!

I'm in same boat with AT&T. Someone else said they were charged the taxes already. I have not been charged anything and my order says in progress and prepping for shipment.

YES! Can't imagine why ATT waits so long to charge the cards/ give out the appropriate shipping information. what phone did you order/ when is your shipping date.

if you need a phone so immediately, why didn't you just order one after it got ran over the first time. heck, even the second time. you only have yourself to blame.

iPhone 6s Space Grey 128 GB and I ordered when preorder started on the 12th at 3 am EST. Says its shipping 24th to be delivered on 25th. Hbu?

iPhone 6s silver 64gb. Mine says shipping on 24th but nothing has changed yet. so impatient. I preordered at 3:34am EDT on the 12th.

I'm just confused on why all the ones ordered within minutes of preorders say October 16 as estimated, but I can go n and select the 6s+ I wat and estimated Dat is I believe Oct 18 or 20?
So is it that backed up, or just random dates they are throwing out because all in all there really aren't all that many 6s+ sold that need shipped and it's just showing those dates to be safe

I ordered the 6s+ through work today. Usually you have to wait for release date but I guess ATT changed that. The guy that placed my order, said you will probably need to wait about 2 months like last year. I sure hope not. But my 5s is working well enough where I can wait.

it got ran over by 2 cabs in one instance chicken mcnugget. it also happened september 10th 2 days before and i pre-ordered immediately. thanks for your concern though.

This is lameeee, I was trying to order an about 15mins ago on the premier site and it kept giving me technical difficulty messages. Within the last 10 MINUTES, the estimated ship dates on the phones have changed on the ATT site.So I'm guessing they are starting to find out how many they have and prepare to ship the ones they have. Looks like good news for some of you to find out soon?

Yes it's BS!!!

Looks as though ATT may be a bit overwhelmed with all the orders.
Hopefully the deliveries are made in a timely fashion and the inventory is there. 1 more day and we'll know

Not BS at all, It's the same every time a new iPhone get's released or any popular cell phone dating back to the 90s.
I probably gotta cancel my ebay listing though since uh.. can't be without a phone for a month.
I never preorder and got a 30-45 day window for shipping. When other carriers and Apple had devices.

AT&T is like every other company. They don't charge your card until the item is shipped. We should see charges on our cards at some point on Wed.

The shipments are, or very soon will be on the way to the main distribution centers. We'll likely get our shipping info once they leave there and head to the local hubs.

There's really nothing to worry about. We'll have our phones Friday.
