I didn't see the $99 AppleCare+ as an option in the app although I was in a rush and could have missed it. I wonder if they will honor it with the new pricing.
I think this year will go much smoother, it seems like inventory is more available. Was there a difference in the deliveries if you were premier last year?
Ordered 128gb gold iPhone 6s at 10:08 PM Eastern time (premier account), shipping September 24th. Lets just hope my college processes the shipment before the weekend (there have been times when amazon packages take a few extra days to get processed).

I don't know lol I didn't know I was premier until I ordered this year lmao. I mean my estimated delivery date was 11/4 and I got it 10/24. But I don't think I became premier until later when I added on my company discount!
so i started a contract on the iphone 6- this year I expected to only get the fuly subsidiez price but it was in fact a full subsidy at $399 (the 6+ 64gb)-- is ATT waiving the subsidy?

I know, "premiere" to me seems to be any account with a company discount. I can honestly say I didn't know I was till I ordered last year but I don't know if it really makes a difference.
As a premier member I received my phone on launch day last year and the two years before as well. Not sure if it was that way for everyone of course.
Likewise! It's odd because I'm actually on a family shared value plan and it has nothing to do with a corporate account so I'm assuming it's due to a Gov discount.
This was my email last year. I ordered right at open. Didn't get the email til about 5am. It was for a Gold 6+. The shipping date shows about the samw shipping date as the Oct ship date we received this year and I received mine on launch day. My shipping date never changed until I saw it go to shipping the day before launch.
It could be either. Mine came UPS last year. You can set up free accounts with both that will alert you when a delivery to your address gets set up with them.
Paying taxes should be considered a Govt. job haha! Premier is a bizarre system at times and I wonder if certain plans just default to it.

There were 6+ folks left in the lurch but by and far most had their phones on launch. ATT's website updates shouldn't be taken too strictly. People might not see any change till the phone ships or sometimes not at all. Some folks received their phones and the website hadn't even listed the phones had shipped yet.
I must say though of the last 3 pre orders this one seems much smoother.
i can access my order on the regular website, but there is a button that says "order details" and when i click that it says it can't find my order with the order number provided
That happened to me during the iPhone 5 pre order. It's a glitch but don't let it worry you.
Ordered an iPhone 6 Plus last year (Premier) and got the 10/13-10/22 estimated ship dates. Got a shipment notification on 09/25 and it was delivered on 09/26. Exactly a week after the initial launch but it was better than 10/13-10/22.
ohh im not worried but thanks its nice to know. i hope apple gives att those 6splus to people like me who ordered fast but still got oct ship date
Ordered as soon as preorders started. Ordered at 12:03 AM PDT. Got the confirmation email around 01:48 AM PDT.
This year was 12:10 AM PDT. Got the confirmation immediately with the 10/16-10/23 estimate.
last year apple didn't produced enough for the demand it had. but this year apple made enough before the pre orders. if we ordered as soon as preorders started we should get them on launch day, because 5 hours after pre orders started (5am pacific) apple was still promising 9/25 delivery for all the 6s and 6s plus except the rose gold. so we should be okay hopefully...
I ordered 48 minutes after the start of pre-orders. Is that a large enough gap in time to think that my shipping estimate of 10/16-10/23 is more likely accurate? I have always ordered within ten minutes of start of pre-order so this is my first time being in such a negative position.
