Another question I figured to ask is when you order with AT&T, do they charge the taxes upfront or when it ships on a pre-order when I placed this evening they charged up upfront
 
Just because it’s billed upfront doesn’t mean the device is ready to ship. I know with other carriers they only charge when the device is ship ready. Say Verizon?

I’m sorry if I’m confusing you when I meant to ask is with Verizon once they charge you for the taxes that means her phone is ready to ship and they have a device for you with AT&T. It’s not the same? Being I paid my taxes upfront that doesn’t mean my device is going to arrive on launch date?

I still have no dates whatsoever. I'm in Michigan. Just upgrading from my current device, been with AT&T for several years.

It should’ve had a date when you were going through the process of buying it. You still have the option to cancel I don’t think you’ll be getting it on release day unfortunately.
 
Have you checked UPS, mine was there.
Nothing on UPS as well. I just moved to a new place and just got the MyChoice/Advanced Shipment stuff set up right before the preorder process so if my phone truly hasn't started moving through the system then I bet that's leading to me not seeing anything.
 
Random question. On the FedEx app, there are three options when you click on “View Options” under indirect signature required. The first one hold at location, the second one is vacation hold, what is the third one? I accidentally tapped it when swiping up. It doesn’t have anything updated on my shipping but it’s gone now and I can’t see what it is.
That 3rd option was "Deliver as Scheduled". I tapped it not knowing it would be selected now its not showing.
 
Are we really thinking that they are going to require a signature? Mine is coming from FedEx and I can see the tracking already, expected delivery on Friday. I’ll be home, but that peaks my anxiety in the case they don’t wait more than 10 seconds for me to answer the door! o_O
