Yeah I see through Apple.com that it only gives me single data plan options, despite being on a mobile share plan.

I hope you are right, because if this plan is lost its gone. Lets hope that when you activate your new device your plan doesn't automatically change over to 10GB for $100 or something.

They keep telling me that they can add the plan back if it's lost but I don't believe them either. I had them note on my account that I want to keep the promotional plan so hopefully activating the phone won't have an effect. If I ever get my phone I'll report back lol!!

What phone are you upgrading from? If you are upgrading from an iPhone 5/5s then I would just take that nano sim and place it in your 6/6+. That way the new sim card is never activated and you don't risk loosing your plan.

If this plan is lost that is it. Since they completely pulled it, I don't think anyone can add it back on.

I'm upgrading from a 5S. I traded the phone in to AT&T and I didn't retain the SIM card.

so i missed the original unlimited just 2 weeks after they stopped offering it... now i missed the 20GB double the data 1 week after they stopped offering it...

I got tired of waiting for them to fix their system with Apple. Everytime I tried Apple I got the individual data plan options. Even though I really prefer to order through Apple, I went ahead and used the ATT site. It went through fine. Used the premier site it took me too and the upgrade showed Mobile Share 20GB when all was done. Now I'm just waiting for it to ship. Shows 11/24-12/04.

Just to report for those of you that DID get the 10->20gb upgrade.

The ATT system, for me, has been updated correctly to display the Mobile Share Value 20GB plan, post billing cycle. This has been reported.

I went through the steps to upgrade a line to an iPhone 6+ on my account through the ATT website, and it worked fine. Just as it did before the 20gb upgrade.

ATT seems to have cleaned up the mess after the initial upgrades.

An earlier poster stated that they're willing to match Verizon's promotion which offers 15GB of data for the price of 10GB. It's not as good as the 20GB for the price of 10GB Sprint promo, but since you missed out on the promo maybe you should try to see if they'll match the Verizon promo.

So at least we can upgrade via AT&T's website. As of yesterday, it was still asking me to pick a plan. Maybe they've fixed it. I upgraded via phone with the retention department.

From my experience I can pretty much guarantee this. I called them and asked for this plan and they guaranteed it for me but said they couldn't turn it on because my account was parked. The reason my account was parked is because I have a new iPhone on order. They put in the notes that I was eligible for the upgrade and that I could call back after I got my iPhone. Well they ended up canceling my phone order anyway because of the screwup. Then when I call back to get my 20 gig plan they said they were no longer able to do it even though it was in the notes because the codes were no longer available. I opened up a ticket for this had it escalated to managers no one could help. Don't ever trust what they tell you.

Call retentions. Tell the agent to email all yor notes to the one spvr whos in charge of the 20 for 10 plan....she has final say and the power to add it back to your account......this particular deal is not resolved by a case with a ticket number

My plan is also showing up on the att phone order page ....and now they have the word "grandfathered "in parenthesis under the plan....gotta be the quickest that a plan got grandfathered... lasted all of about a week..i was hoping that they would offer it again soon so anyone else who wants it could get it...but not so sure thats ever gonna happen ....now that they classified it as a grandfathered plan

Two+ weeks later, my case finally closed and they were unable to add the 20 GB plan (even though it had been verbally agreed and the first rep said she had added it to my account).

I just called retentions and they were able to give me 15 GB with no hassle. It took the rep 30 seconds, and my account is already showing the promotion.

If any of you are still on 10 GB, try calling retentions to see if they'll offer you the 15 for the same price. Best of luck!

Mine was.

Well then i stand corrected..and glad you were one of the lucky ones who got it back.....i was just going by what a retentions agent told me.....but she also told me that there is 1 spvr in charge of this plan who can also add it back..

Thats a great deal too...and comes close the 20 for 10 for the same price.......but if you dont need a ton of data then a great value is if you can get retentions to match verizons 10 gigs for price of 6 for 80 bucks...cuz you will get the 15 buck device charge with that deal too...and slap a fan discount on in and your payin about 62.50 for the data.......nice

I've been trying to get the 10 to 20 plan for weeks but couldn't because I had just signed up with Next and had not received my phone yet. I immediately called when i received my phone but was told that the plan had expired. After complaining and threatening to leave a case was submitted on my behalf..Well after weeks of going back and forth and inquiring about my case, a rep called and offered me 15gb and I gladly accepted..15gb for $100 is still cool..:D

They ended up denying my case to move me to the 10 gb dpubled plan for $100. Couldn't tell me why. Att is ridiculous, been with them for 13 years and they can't make any accommodations to get me off of the unlimited plan. I don't want to pay 30$ more for 30gb

That's unfortunate. If 15GB is sufficient for you, perhaps you could get the 15GB for the price of 10GB. Several people have mentioned they received that.

I need to get this 15gb for 100

Mx, yardman, and ank, thank you! A little persistence paid off. Called and they did do the upgrade to 15g for me and gave ms a $52 credit for all my hassles! (Long story, phone order canceled, service was turned off, too much to get into. )

You missed it more like 3.5 weeks ago. And it wasn't available for long, unlike unlimited.

So now their doing 15GB for $100? So why not just do 5 more GB for $100? I don't see why 20GB for $100 couldn't have just have been included in the original promo??? They wouldn't be making as much revenue, but it would entice many of their customers to stay with AT&T, and even bring more customers over from Verizon.

If att matches verizons 15 gig for Price of 10 for 100 bucks then yor actually getting a much better deal than verizons plan.......cuz verizon makes you buy a new phone on next to get the 15 buck device charge....otherwise its 40 bucks per device.....at att you will still get the 15 buck device charge for phones currently under contract or byod phones....a family of 4 cud get by with 15 gigs if they all use wifi and dont stream netflix on lte.....

Just called AT&T , transferred to retentions and explained how I was disappointed that certain people called in and were able to double their 10GB plan to 20GB, and that Sprint offered 20 for the same price AT&T offered 10. The lady was very pleasant and apologized and proceeded to offer me 15GB for the price of 10. So the double 10 retentions deal may not be there any more but you may still have some luck if you call and cite competitors deals. It wasn't until I mentioned how sprint and even Verizon had better deals that she jumped to offer me the deal.

It was the most frustrating interaction I've ever had with AT&T. I kept being told "no, it's not in the system" and escalating then suddenly told yes. The first time it was a quick escalation to a very nice retention duty manager who then escalated to someone else (but stayed on the call).

The second time a case was opened after the night before I had a nasty conversation with a jerk of a retentions duty manager. He kept offering a credit to offset the difference for two years and he didn't care that in year three I was back to square one. His only job is retentions and he kept p***ing me off more and more. He told me it was impossible. So I cut him loose and the next day with someone else I opened a case and the day after that I was back on the plan.

I've never been treated so poorly and SirusXM set that bar pretty low.
