AT&T order people with 6\16 date

A. Order dates of 6/15 (via order status) got priority b/c they went in 'clean'
B. Order dates of 6/16 (via order status) go next, but might be in the initial wave of deliveries
C. Product probably came on pallets of like model. They may be working through their 16GB pallets before moving onto their 32GB pallets. From a shipping/delivery standpoint it doesn't make sense to have pallets inter-mingled w/ differant stock numbers.
D. If 'C' is right, I would imagine we'd see waves of 16GB orders light up, followed by a few 32s intermixed, followed by mostly 32s.

So maybe there are loads of 32GB w/ 6/16 order dates that still have to be scanned in.

more people will buy the 16GB initially just the way it is. They sell less 32GB but have as much as the 16GBs as far as inventory. The 16s just go faster. I need the 32 cause I have like 10,000 songs and over 700 albums in iTunes and use a lot of memory.
 
I am hoping those with tracking numbers right now just got AT&Ts initial allotment. However, more phones will be coming over to AT&T with the Apple shipments from China this week. This is the 2nd batch... it may be a day or two late. Hey, FEDEX next day has Saturday delivery, or they could add it, its the least they could do, right???
 
UPDATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just checked and I have a FED EX tracking number. My status just changed in the last 3 mins. I ordered 6/15 4:18pm EST. YAYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!

I got the CSS email this morning,
ordered 6/15 10AM,
got confirmation email 6/16 5:46 PM,
backordered = 0,
status in progress.

Was yours Premier or standard ATT site? Because I ordered at 3 PM EST and mine still shows back-ordered (Premier)
 
I ordered 32GB from att.com on 6/15/10 at approximately 5:30 p.m. ET. Like all of you, mine shows up as being ordered on 6/16. I NEVER received a confirmation email, but my order does show up under the order status on my account. I received the CSS email the morning of 6/17. My phone was never shown as backordered. It is listed as "In Progress" with no shipping number. I do have a charge pending on my credit card.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed for Thursday, as my original iPhone is dead and the old Motorola just ain't cutting it!

Could you post a screenshot? I've yet to see a creditable report from someone with 6/16 as the ordered date on the AT&T status page (not premier)
 
*sigh* When will someone with a 6/16 date that ordered through PREMIER say their iPhone is no longer back-ordered?! :(
 
Shipment confirmation on my status page. Shows FEDEX, shipment date of 6/21/10 and has tracking number.

As a reminder:

I ordered: 6/15 at 5:15pm EST through regular AT&T website. Two 16gb under Family Plan. I'm a new subscriber. Order Status page still shows having been ordered on 6/16/10. Shows a ship date of 6/21/10.

Interestingly it doesn't have anything in the QTY Shipped section at this time. Of course nothing shows up in the FEDEX website for tracking yet either.

Received confirmation e-mail at 1:41am PST

Premier site says 6/15 and "Processing" Last updated 6/17

Regular ATT site says 6/16 and backordered.

AT&T site says I'm eligible for a standard upgrade.

Had a pending charge from AT&T but has disappeared.
 
My brother got a tracking number on his this morning. It doesn't show up on FedEx's website as of yet but he got his CSS shortly after. I ordered mine before him (we both ordered from AT&T) and I have yet to receive either. Should I be worried?
 
Ordered 6/15 at 10:55am PST after 5 hours of frustration.

Premier Site says Order 6/15 Processing

Regular Site says Order 6/16 Processing and Back Order Flag

Seems like all of us who ordered through the Premier because we have to got screwed over. I would have gone through the Apple site but I was adding a line.


I just hope to get mine before we go on vacation the 30th.

Hmm...you ordered 11 hours after I did, same exact order (2 phones new family plan) and have a shipment, while I'm still processing.

What a cluster. I'm going to be annoyed if I don't make it in the first wave.
 
Man, I just check my status and it had shipped this morning so I go in and list my old 32 GIG 3GS on fleabay and it sold for 360 in like 15 minutes. Now I am wondering if I sold it for too little? Oh well it is still a good deal cause it is a less than 15 day old apple refrub with 2 otter box cases and some Zagg screen protectors.
 
I just talked to an AT&T rep on the phone and he was a genuine *******. He was giving me the same answer to every question, and was incredibly short with me. I have a feeling he's been dealing with these phone calls for the whole day now but he was incredibly rude for a customer service rep.

Both my phone calls today have been useless, they haven't told me anything I wouldn't already know. I'm giving it until tomorrow for my phone to ship, but if it doesn't there is going to be a huge problem here.
 
I ordered around 7:30 pm on 6/15 got an order number, but no e-mail confirmation. I called AT&T on 6/16 to confirm, my order needed a credit check (adding a line of service) so she did that while we were on the phone and my order date is 6/16. My status is "In Progress", quantity ordered = 1, quantity shipped = 0, quantity back-ordered = 0.
