I did the same thing. I can’t blow my day waiting on the UPS truck. I’ll just pick it up at the CC center in the morning.
My order was placed at about 3:15 CST, about an hour and fifteen minutes after pre-ordering went live. Originally I was given a ship date of 11/2 - 11/10. Later that day I received an email stating something was wrong with my order and I needed to call in by Nov. 10th to avoid my order being canceled.
To make this short, I called ATT at least 5 times and got no where with the reps I spoke to, until finally on Wednesday, I got a hold of a rep who knew what the hell he was doing. He canceled my existing order and placed a new one. New estimated shipping date of 11/1 - 11/9.
I have been worried that because my new order was not placed until Wednesday there was no way I would be getting my phone tomorrow, BUT I can happily report I just received my shipping notification a few minutes ago and it has departed Ft. Worth with a scheduled delivery for tomorrow!
Thought I would share for all those who were given similar ship dates but have yet to receive shipping info. I think almost anyone given a ship date of 11/1 - 11/10 will get theirs tomorrow, so long as any issUes with their order have been resolved.

Please. I know this will be quickly buried. But if you can see this, can you please just call your delivery company and ask about your own package if you are that unsure? Whether to leave the package or not when leaving a note is up to the driver's discretion and no person online can predict what your own driver is going to do. Some people are reporting signature is required for them, some aren't. Some people's phones are already local and the ones that aren't seem to not have a specific delivery timeframe uploaded.

My order is in the 11-2 - 11/10 window. I haven’t seen any movement on my order, but I have resigned myself to not seeing it tomorrow. I placed my order at 10:56 Easter time. Living in Alaska, nothing ever comes in 1 day.

Yep! Sure looks like it. I sure hope that after getting the phone, besides admiring the OLED screen, there will be something interesting to do with it. Is that AR program that has robots fighting on a real table you are pointing the camera at, out yet?
Mine left Louisville at 4:42 pm today via UPS. I called UPS My choice and had it rerouted to a CC facility for pick up in the morning. But the online tracking still says it will be delivered to my house by the - End of Day - tomorrow.

I submitted my request through the ups app using my choice ups feature/account. I now see this.
In some instances in the past, people who altered shipping by requesting pick up over the standard delivery have actually delayed their receipt of the phone. I would let it ride my friends, unless you absolutely cannot
Has anyone's skipped "Preparing to ship" and flipped from "In progress" straight to "Shipped"?

Yes...my last order out of three (10/27/2017 at 3:58:17 a.m. ET) went from In Progress to Shipped.
More than likely, it will ship out tonight and be at your local fedex in morning to go out
I hear you. I called UPS and they assured me that it would be sent to their CC faculty for pick up first thing tomorrow. This is also their stated policy on their website. I just can’t justify sitting at home and waiting all day. And that’s what I would do. So I’m hoping to pick it up in the morning and then work all day. If it delays it, so be it. My 7+ still does everything the X does, except map my face.
