My phone showed up yesterday! This thing is sweet. It's a welcome change after four years on Android.

AT&T is in a good stock position now.

I ordered 2 iPhone X 256GB Space Grey on Tuesday night 12/7.

Got an email saying they would ship between 12/27 and 1/5.

Just got another email. They shipped this morning. I’ll have them tomorrow 12/9.

Same, just placed an order thru AT&T site for SPG 256GB, expected delivery Dec 8-11th. Just hope it’s FedEx and not UPS. UPS has lost 2 packages within 3 weeks which is not normal. Did a little research and it turns out they did a huge hiring spree for the holiday season and due to this packages are misteriously “disappearing”. Just a friendly heads up.

UPDATE.

Ordered: 10/27/2017 at 11:29 a.m. PDT

Method: AT&T walk-in customer.

Current Status: Delivered as of 12/07/2017 12:40 p.m. PDT

Specs: iPhone X - 256GB - Silver.

Status Changed from “In Progress” to “Preparing To Ship” on 12/05/2017 and “Shipped” on 12/06/2017 with an “Expected Delivery Date” of 12/11/2017.

This process was an aggravating one, especially early on and mid-way. What made it maddening was the plethora of people who ordered iPhone X’s hours, days, and even WEEKS after I did receive their devices before me.

To top off the frustration, AT&T reps were not that useful in giving reasonable explanation(s). Some even outright denied the fact that phones were being shipped out of order despite all the online forum evidence.

I am unlikely to ever order through AT&T again after this and will be better prepared to pre-order through Apple the next time around which was my original plan this year with the iPhone X but I ran into a roadblock the night of Pre-Orders & was forced to go through AT&T.

I will give AT&T credit for staying true to the shipment window of 12/4/2017 - 12/11/2017 and not screwing that up because i had my concerns that they would.
