I just looked into the two emails I got from At&t since I ordered two phones one space gray for me and one silver for my wife and I realized that I’m getting mine from UPS and hers from FedEx. Wonder why they are different
 
The ones via FedEx should be from Fort Worth and the UPS ones are coming from Memphis. I know that UPS from Memphis is odd since it is the home of the FedEx Hub.

64gb silver ordered 10/27/2017 at 2:30pm ET. Currently in Newark, NJ. Delivering to NYC tomorrow via UPS.

Ugh, the option to hold it @ FedEx is greyed out. If anyone finds a workaround, let me know! I just moved to a new address and dunno when fedex passes by my house.

No workaround. ATT blocked the ability to hold at a fed ex facility. They are shipping mine via UPS and I was able to get my phone tomorrow routed to a UPS access point aka UPS store. No clue why they allow to update delivery on UPS and not Fed ex.
 
Just saw my phone depart the facility in Indianapolis via FedEx so be on the lookout for more status updates if you’re already in progress.

Yup - mine too. 434pm. The other one is still sitting in Indianapolis. I guess it will arrive a few hours after this one. This one scheduled for delivery by 3pm, the other one by 8pm.
 
seems like it was picked up 10/29/17, with a future delivery request...would have been nice to be one of the ppl that got it hella early!

My Space Gray 64GB order 3:10am ET left Indianapolis. I'm in NY. I'm still perturbed I never got a Fedex alert for it but I called Fedex and verified the address. It must have been a glitch that I didn't get an alert.
 
My order was placed at 3:56:66 a.m. ET, I've had a "delivery by date: November 3, 2017" all along. Still sitting as "in progress" I just chatted with support on att.com and they're saying my delivery window is 11/2 - 11/10 in their system... Still showing Nov 3rd on my order status page.

Looks like I may be in for a sad Friday :(

Yep. "In Progress" never means "Preparing to ship". But remember my story from 2 years ago. Where I had In Progress til 1am on launch day.. where it changed to "preparing to ship"… Got my phone that afternoon on Friday.

If you don't see a change by morning it's not coming launch day.
