I agree. I’m on the phone again with their orders dept trying to figure out why someone told me it was shipping yesterday and I would have it today, other than to just flat out lie.

Still no word on when it’ll ship or when I’ll receive it. The first rep I talked to said “maybe still today!”...told her that wasn’t possible if it hasn’t even shipped. Gosh, they’ll just tell people anything to get them off the phone. It’s maddening.
 
Blackhole of orders. It's happened before and will happen again. Happens when the order system acts up because of stress of preorders. Basically the order just sits there. Will only change if they rebuild the order giving you the same priority you should have had when you preordered or if you cancel and do something else. Otherwise, welcome to high blood pressure and ulcers.
 
I finally called Apple to order directly, they had to call AT&T because they cannot order a new line on NEXT. Apple rep found an AT&T rep that knew something so she added a line so Apple could order an iPhone X against that new line. I now have two orders. 1 from AT&T (that I feel will never ship - delivery of 11/2-10) and 1 from Apple with a Dec delivery date range.

I feel you. Same here. I just got mad and hung up on ATT. SO! I’m sure my order is now being pushed back further.

Ha!!! I have hung up on them multiple times.

Finally decided to talk to the chatbox on the ATT website to find out about why my holding charge just disappeared last Sunday. She told me that it's because the phone is actually preparing to ship that it is gone and will be officially charged once I get the tracking info. So it is technically charged, not officially charged. She also said I should be getting an email tomorrow or Sunday with tracking info. Fingers crossed.
 
Was in the 11/17-11/24 group and got a shipping notice this morning for X space grey 256. Says it won't be delivered till 11/21 in the email. UPS says it will be delivered 11/16. I'm in Seattle.
 
Just got shipping notice. Will be here Monday. Bummed I have to wait another weekend, but could be worse!

Silver 256GB ordered 10/27 11:23 AM EST.
 
I'm sorry to see that some folks in the 11/2-10 window haven't gotten their phones.

I'll be totally honest with you guys...unless you are prepared to be ruthless and relentless with AT&T CS, you won't get a darn thing from them.

I'm beyond stressed out from my ordeals with them the past couple weeks (not just including the preorder debacle) but because I was diligent and I didn't let them get away with screwing me over, the following things happened: I got my phone at launch, 3 high quality phone cases as compensation, and half-off my monthly bill.

I wish I could say there's a formula to getting what you want from this company but there just isn't one. Either you get someone to help you who knows what they're doing, or you don't. Only 4 out of 30+ reps actually helped me. That should tell you something about their business model.

I didn't order until 11/3 and have a date of Dec 11 to Dec 18th. I had to go through my employers AT&T Premier method to get a discount as I didn't want to have to pay the full $1200+. I knew AT&T would be the slowest method as Apple direct has been good in the past, but I liked going the discounted route.

By reading this thread, and many who ordered on pre-order day and still have nothing, I dont expect to see anything until mid-December at earliest. I suspect once December rolls around, all pre-orders etc will be caught up and the initial buzz will have worn off.
 
Ordered 256 Silver at 11am ET on 10/27 and had a date of 11/2-11/10. Shipped today via FedEx. Wonder if they will deliver Saturday?

I surprised myself, because I wasn't planning on updating to the X for a few months, but figured I could kill two birds with one stone and pass along my 6S+ to my mother-in-law, who has wanted a larger iPhone. I figured I would be waiting until closer to Christmas before it would arrive, but I got an 11/27-12/4 shipment window on the silver 64gb version.

Of course now I'm hoping they improve upon the date so it arrives sooner.
 
Just left the AT&T store.... my rep talked me out of cancelling my order until Monday. But just as a test, we placed another order for the same phone (Silver 256) on another line. The date on that order is 12/4/2017 - 12/11/2017.

Due to an issue with Next and Apple reservation, I had to cancel my order from Apple I made at 2:07 AM CST on 10/27.

In his defense (I’m an AT&T sales rep). We don’t get that much commission on phones sales. So I don’t think he was just trying to get another sale

The big money comes from selling DTV.

I know. Was just kidding but I couldn’t help but picture it in my head.....this sale rep saying in his head “how Can I turn this negative into a positive?” And then giving himself a pat on the back after he left. Lol.

I got a UPS tracking number but it's not in UPS's site yet, so within a few days I should see my final delivery date!

Edit: I ordered the Space Grey with 256gb. I got a delivery date, it's Tuesday Nov. 14. Located in Dallas TX area.

Hold on boys and girls, your phone is coming probably much sooner than you were promised!
