I feel you. Same here. I just got mad and hung up on ATT. SO! I’m sure my order is now being pushed back further.
I didn't order until 11/3 and have a date of Dec 11 to Dec 18th. I had to go through my employers AT&T Premier method to get a discount as I didn't want to have to pay the full $1200+. I knew AT&T would be the slowest method as Apple direct has been good in the past, but I liked going the discounted route.I ordered a 256GB SG on 10/27/17 at a store around 10:30 AM PST with an original ship date of 12/11-12/18. My order shipped Tuesday with a delivery date of Monday.
Just left the AT&T store.... my rep talked me out of cancelling my order until Monday. But just as a test, we placed another order for the same phone (Silver 256) on another line. The date on that order is 12/4/2017 - 12/11/2017.
He didn’t want to lose that commission. Instead he doubled down. Big balls he has.
In his defense (I’m an AT&T sales rep). We don’t get that much commission on phones sales. So I don’t think he was just trying to get another sale
The big money comes from selling DTV.
Pre-ordered my phone via ATT Premier, over the phone on 10/27 at 12:06pm. Originally the shipping date was Dec 4-18th. Then it went down to Dec. 4-11. And then magically today November 10 the status updated to shipped. Speaking with an ATT rep sounds like at this point it's coming within 5 days.
I got a UPS tracking number but it's not in UPS's site yet, so within a few days I should see my final delivery date!
Hold on boys and girls, your phone is coming probably much sooner than you were promised!
