Oh I totally understand the frustration and sympathize with you. My account rep even told me that the 6+ wouldn't be available until mid November so I was prepared for a long wait. I was stunned this morning when I received the ship notifications. I had read that AT&T was pulling extra 6+ stock out of stores that was originally designated for walk in sales to cover some of the pre orders. I really hope all of you get surprised tomorrow.
 
So, premier order on 9/12 3:10am est for 6+ 64gb SG. Just got off the phone with a premier agent. She told me what I already know, my phone is due 10/2 - 10/13. I said I already know that. I want to know why I am not getting my phone tomorrow when I ordered within 10 mins of launch. No answer. I asked if premier members are being penalized? No sir. I asked if there were problems that screwed up the order sequence because people that ordered after me are getting theirs tomorrow? She said no and could only apologize. I kept on and she all of a sudden says it has already shipped and is in a warehouse and I should get it soon. I said great. Who is it with UPS or FEDEX and what is the tracking number? She puts me on hold and when she comes back she says she doesn't have a tracking number to give me. I ask if my phone is still in China? At this point she could only apologize and say she hopes I get it soon. I think that "it has shipped" or "its in the warehouse" are just things they are saying to end the conversation. Guess that didn't work out so well for her this time.

Sorry for any spelling or grammar errors. I am pissed off typing on my little iPhone 5.

LOL...I feel your pain but I laughed at your last line. They are reading from a play sheet at this point. "in a warehouse ready to ship" means in parts being put together by a chinaman. It's equivalent to my dog eating dinner and me telling you it's "prepared to sh**"
 
I ordered a total of 6 phones for my company:

1 iphone 6 16gb SG
1 iphone 6 16gb silver
1 iphone 6 128 gb gold
1 iphone 6+ 128 gb SG
2 iphone 6+ 128gb silver

I ordered these on Monday 9/15 at 9:00 am thru my AT&T business rep. The initial confirmation I received had all 3 6+ phones delivering 11/9-11/27. The 16gb SG had an expected delivery date of 10/14-11/3 and the 16gb silver and 128gb gold had a delivery date of 9/24-10/3. I checked the status this morning and all 3 iphone 6 phones had UPS tracking numbers and showed a 9/19 delivery date to Dayton, OH. About an hour after that I received tracking numbers for all 3 6+ phones but it didn't have a delivery date. They were all in Fort Worth, TX and listed as next day air saver. About 45 minutes ago it updated again and they too have a 9/19 delivery date from UPS. As of a few minutes ago they were at DFW airport probably headed to Louisville next. I have no idea how mine got moved up so fast as I ordered them 4 days after the presale started.


Wow, that just makes the rest of us feel like crap...lol.. great news for you guys...That just proves it is not first come first serve...Unless the rest of us non working, forum posting junkies get ours tomorrow as well..

My theory for us in California (especially Bay Area) is that a lot of stock that would would have gone to AT&T and other carriers for California is now going to the SF Apple store and other flagship Apple Stores. They rarely run out of stock at the Market/Stockton Store on launch days with all the TV and press outside (last thing they need is people coming out of the store after an 18 hour wait all empty handed and pissed that they had no Plus models due to production problems). I might try and cancel my order this evening and head down there for a long wait instead...

Im in Santa Rosa so I don't like reading this...lol..Never doing this again..

got the order confirmation a couple minutes later and saw a charge on my CC by 10 AM HST.

I’ve had the ‘preparing for shipment’ on ATT website ever since, no longer see a pending charge on my cc. and just got an email last night (9/17) saying my order is shipping 10/2 – 10/13. Really do hope I get it tomorrow but losing hope at this point.

Or at least we still can hope until tomorrow:rolleyes:

Rep takes my card for taxes as I am doing the next plan on daughters line then will switch phones with her when my 6p comes in. But every time i try to check online I get this error:

I get email confirmation of the order but it has 10-31---11-11 for shipping. They have not processed my card and when I called Att I get the run around and they say once it comes closer to shipping they will update it. Am I really going to be waiting until November to get a 6plus??

Look, majority of people here ordered minutes before and minutes after pre-order went live, and having to watch people ordered 7~10 hours later getting their tracking number. In a perfect world, we should have received our orders yet and people that ordered that late would have received theirs in Oct~Nov. Since ATT wants to **** around with our emotions, I would say you might receive yours in few weeks, but would not be surprised if you had to wait for November.

ya but you need to sign for these...I do know my UPS guy always comes before noon. and I talked to him a couple days ago and asked if he could come earlier, was tempted to give him 20$ to bring at 7am...lol.... If it even comes tomorrow..

I'm seriously disappointed, not because I NEED my 6+ 128 SG tomorrow but because this process is so convoluted. I'm convinced that there is no method to this madness. I waited until midnight to get my order in because I wanted to get the phone on launch day. I thought, at a minimum, that my order would be filled based on when it was submitted. I expected adherence to the basic tenets of "first come, first served" processing.

I completed my order by 0012 PST and received the confirmation email around 0200. Initially I got dates of 10/31-11/19, then 10/2-10/13. My "cancel" button went away, the charge for taxes showed up and then also went away.
Now the cancel button is back and my status is "pre-order processing". I swear that it used to say pending shipment.
I very seriously considered skipping this version and just keeping my Iphone 5, so my disappointment surprises me. I won't drop ATT just for this but it's definitely a negative data point that will carry weight in future decisions.

Many others are getting this error as well. But, don't worry you should get your phone before November. Should.. Unless AT&T F*cks you over..

just trying to lighten the mood in here and hopefully..........HOPEFULLY they start updating our status' tonight and we see some movement...

At this point I have lost hope for delivery tomorrow. Just for the record, ordered at 3:05 eastern, received confirmation e-mail at 3:12 and went immediately to Oct. 2-13 ship dates. Still in preparing to ship status. 64gb SG 6+

Your order of what has happened to you almost perfectly matches me. Ordered instantly at 12 PST. Received confirmation email 30 mins later. Originally was 10/13-10/22. Pending charges showed up. Pending charges then disappeared along with my cancellation button. I was moved up to 10/2-10/13 and it said preparing to ship. Now my cancellation button is back and I feel like I'm starting over. This system is a joke and no one from AT&T has any ****** clue what to say to customers.
 
I wonder if using Next has anything to do with it. My wife and I went to an AT&T store Saturday, the day after preorder day. We combined our accounts into a family plan and subscribed to Next, each of us ordering a new phone. She ordered a 6, 64gb gold and I got a 6 plus, 64gb space gray. They told her late sept, early Oct. and told me into November. I confirmed this on the order status page. Well, today I got the email that they shipped, both of them in the box. Not sure how and sorry for the people who were up at 3am ordering.

I just saw someone in the other ATT forum who pre ordered phones 4 days after the fact and is getting them tomorrow... WHHHAAAAA Happened?
 
Stilling waiting on my Gold IP6+ 64gig. I got it initially at 3:45am and it has sat at the 10/2 - 10/13 status since Sunday. I'm honestly not expecting it but damn would it be nice to be on one of those flights coming in.
 
I wonder if they are punishing the ones of us who did not go to the Next plan and kept our unlimited data.

I really think that premier customers are the ones that are not seeing the tracking numbers. I don't think that is because they "lost" our orders, because I got confirmation from a rep that my older was processed at 2:52a Eastern, 8 Minutes before it was set to open. So, due to how slow premier is usually in updates, I think that they just have not put in the tracking numbers yet, if they plan on it at all for a while. Just my two cents.
