I'm taking one for the team... I got tired of the AT&T mess ups and finally just cancelled my order, so someone should bump up!

I ordered at 12:30 PST Sept 12th. with a 14 - 21 day delivery notice. I received the email saying a phone was reserved, blah blah blah.
On Sept 16th, I noticed my order changed to 11/9 - 11/27 expected delivery. :eek:
I called and they said there was something wrong with my order and they had to re submit which put me at the back of the line.... SO WRONG!

I figure I try to find one tomorrow and worse case I re-order from Apple's site with the original 3-4 week ship time.
 
I have not seen one order for a 6+ change to shipped today. I think that means either there will be a massive wave or they are not gonna update anymore and just ship them out. Either way I'm hoping we all got ours. I ordered 3:30am est 6+ 64gb silver.
 
on the phone now with Brenda from AT&T. She tells me that Apple has informed them that the SG is in high demand and that they are taking up to 3 weeks longer than any other color. She then proceeded to tell me that my order will not ship in the Oct. 2-13 date range. She said sorry for the bad news.

I hate them so much!

with no tracking #'s nothing is shipping.. my guess is AT&T has no more stock.
 
Seriously about to go from 0 to 100 and call att and threaten to cancel. I am so annoyed that people that ordered hours after me are receiving shipments tomorrow and I still have a 10/2 date on a gold iPhone 6 plus 64 gb

Please do!!!! I'll get mine quicker then.
 
I wouldn't think that would be the case. If they really wanted us all off the unlimited plan, they'd just end it altogether. I was actually surprised to learn that I could keep it. I assumed that switching to NEXT would kill it.

Phew...thank you. I too ordered with the NEXT plan but I never read anywhere that you lost your grandfathered unlimited.

People, stop taking what the reps say literally. I only call for pure entertainment. It's already been proven they have no clue about what they are talking about.
 
Why i didnt see any cancel button? My still said pending shipping. Where do you can see the cancel button? Can you guy please take a picture of it? Thanks
 
I see cancel button again. ATT rep said its because they have no more stock for a week + for iphone 6 plus. LOL WTF

Ordered at 9:45am eastern, two of my three shipped today, 64gb 6+, gold and silver color. Sent to Idaho.

The third, ordered just before, at 9:35am eastern, is a 64gb 6+ and is still showing 10/31. It was processed on a separate order that would ship to Washington, DC.
 
I went back and looked at my old e-mails:

iPhone 5 - pre-ordered through Apple, received the Monday after Launch

iPhone 4 - pre-ordered through AT&T Premier, received the Wednesday after Launch - received shipping e-mail the Wednesday after Launch (I remember this - I got the e-mail about an hour after the phone arrived. Wish I had remembered this at 1:05am MDT on 09.12 - app store came up on iphone for me about 1 minute later - should have placed another order)

3g - purchased several months after Launch

iPhone - didn't buy

I've never gotten an iPhone on Launch day - but the last time I ordered from AT&T I didn't receive a tracking e-mail prior to receiving my shipment

Therefore, universe, I will take this as a sign that I will be receiving an iPhone to-morrow, as it is my turn to get an iPhone on Launch Day! Obviously, AT&T is just fubared and not sending out shipping notices
 
AT&T has lost millions from not being able to fulfill these orders they have promised on.

I'm not sure they have. Not trying to be contradictory, but AT&T is still going to sell out of phones. Us fanatics probably don't even represent that much of a customer base when the sales numbers come in at the end of the year. Alas, AT&T is such a colossal company these days and they don't give a hoot about making the customer experience a pleasant one.

That being said, I am pretty bummed about the way they've handled this debacle. When my contract runs out, I'll be moving on to another provider. ...and not just because of this preorder mess.
 
I have seen only 10-15 people report that they got their space gray 6+ delivered on launch day.. Assuming only 1% reported here.. Total might be around 1000-1500.. apple is manufacturing 400k daily.. Let's assume 1/3 are space gray.. Minimum 100 k daily.. They have been flying these phones in for 2 weeks now.. That is the reason other carriers and apple are able to deliver to early customer who pre ordered.. AT&T screwed up somewhere and are now just playing blame game of stocks.. Fed up of it..
 
Is anyone else having problems looking at their order status? Using the online link from a mobile device it is now a dead link. Has been for about 30 minutes.
