I wonder if using Next has anything to do with it. My wife and I went to an AT&T store Saturday, the day after preorder day. We combined our accounts into a family plan and subscribed to Next, each of us ordering a new phone. She ordered a 6, 64gb gold and I got a 6 plus, 64gb space gray. They told her late sept, early Oct. and told me into November. I confirmed this on the order status page. Well, today I got the email that they shipped, both of them in the box. Not sure how and sorry for the people who were up at 3am ordering.

I subscribed to Next also in a store on Friday afternoon. Mine is still showing the 11/09-11/27 dates
 
I wonder if they are punishing the ones of us who did not go to the Next plan and kept our unlimited data.

I don't have a unlimited data plan, and subscribed to AT&T Next and haven't gotten any tracking number at all.. I ordered a 16GB Space Grey iPhone 6 Plus at 11:50 PM PST on 9/11.
 
Bummed. Not getting my phone it seems. Ordered at 3:15AM EST 64 GB SpacE gray plus.

Local apple store has a half mile line currently.

I really think that premier customers are the ones that are not seeing the tracking numbers. I don't think that is because they "lost" our orders, because I got confirmation from a rep that my older was processed at 2:52a Eastern, 8 Minutes before it was set to open. So, due to how slow premier is usually in updates, I think that they just have not put in the tracking numbers yet, if they plan on it at all for a while. Just my two cents.

We are business customers who spend hundreds of dollars a month. We should take priority.

I signed up for Next. Still waiting on 64g sg. Ordered at 330am est...received email confirmation at 7am, 2 text msgs stating my order was processed, date has been changed 3 times. Order status still says "preparing to ship" - Long Island, NY

I just can't read anymore of this. While I am happy that you are going to get your device tomorrow, I am enraged that I will not when I made the effort to get up at 2:45 Eastern in order to get one on launch day. This is mind boggling.
 
GREAT NEWS! I finally got up and left the computer long enough to shave off the beard that has grown since the 12th. Hopefully I can get away to take a shower next!
 
Seriously about to go from 0 to 100 and call att and threaten to cancel. I am so annoyed that people that ordered hours after me are receiving shipments tomorrow and I still have a 10/2 date on a gold iPhone 6 plus 64 gb
 
Also signed up for next. Finally, after trying since just before midnight, the order went through at 12:56 pacific time for a space grey 128 gig plus. Shipping has been at Oct 2 - 13 for a couple days at least. I'm in Seattle so late shipments are possible, I'm holding out hope that a lot of us are going to be ultimately happy. We shall see.

Perhaps, but I gave up unlimited last year and switched to the Next plan for this purchase. I still think there is an outside chance that some of us get phones tomorrow. Even if we do, I'll still be disappointed with this process. An accurate order-status is a fundamental part of a transaction of this nature. It really isn't asking too much when one is purchasing a 1000$ phone. An event like this tests the logistics and management of a corporation, it is clear to me that AT&T's management is not up to par with its competitors.

Now that you mention it they tried so hard to make me switch to a new plan. I pre-ordered in-store assuming you could pick it up in-store (which you can't). I tried preordering me and my sister's phone and they said I couldn't upgrade both unless I switch to a 15 GB share plan! I was like WTF I don't wanna lose my unlimited data!!! So I upgraded mine and my sister did hers thru apple (which she is getting tomorrow) and I don't get mine until November. So, you might not be wrong..
 
I got a NEXT plan. 64GB plus SG. 10/2 - 10/13 forever and ever. Not sure it has anything to do with NEXT vs contract
 
I ordered my iPhone 6 plus 64GB SG from AT&T, and the order was completed by 12:02 am. I received my confirmation email around 1:30 am.

Ever since the 12th my order status has said: "Preorder Processing - Expected shipping date: Pending confirmation" and the shipment status via the "my at&t" page has said "in progress." My cc has not shown any pending charges from AT&T.

Am I completely out of luck? Is anyone else experiencing this order status? Every time I talk to a rep via chat they can only tell me that the order is processing, and every time I call premiere support I get disconnected. I assumed I would have been emailed if there was an issue with my credit card. Should I be worried that I'm not going to receive a phone at all?

People who ordered 12 HOURS LATER on APPLE.COM are getting Iphone 6 plus tomorrow but we aren't. Thank your carrier ATNT EVERYONE

So many people are dumping AT&T and going to Verizon for this I read in an article in Newsweek. AT&T totally messed up this pre order.

I wouldn't think that would be the case. If they really wanted us all off the unlimited plan, they'd just end it altogether. I was actually surprised to learn that I could keep it. I assumed that switching to NEXT would kill it.
