Here is my story. I was trying to log into the Apple site, my wife was trying to log into the AT&T site. My plan was to buy it from Apple, but like everyone else, I couldn't. Since she got in, I had her order for us. We were done about 1:10 Mountain time, got a confirmation at 2:44.

Initial was 14-21 days, went to Oct 31- Nov 14, then Oct 13, then Oct 2. The only reason that I was on the stupid premiere plan is because the AT&T store guy said my university had a program that would lower my bill... by a whopping $16.

I still don't have any confirmation of delivery. I have been with AT&T since the very beginning of iPhone. If I don't get my phones on launch day, I am through with AT&T. I'm actually pretty pissed off at Apple too since their f-up pushed me there.

If no iPhone tomorrow then as soon as my Next 12 is up I'm out of here. If I can't get a phone on launch day when I stay up and try the minute that it's available something is really wrong. I'm not sure whose screw up it is yet, or if if is a multiple cluster that caused this.
 
So I'm on ATT and don't want to agree to a new 2 year contract or use ATT next. Can I just buy an ATT iPhone 6+ no contract from the Apple Store for 949?
 
AT&T Customer Service...More like Customer Confusion

So...just talked to another representative and she stated that all...I repeat all customers that placed an order in the early hours of the 12th will be receiving their phones tomorrow. She said that FedEx was delivering the initial batch of orders (which conflicts with what some have shown here)

She was very confident...of course so was the last lady that said the shipping window of 10/2-10/13 was correct.

Go figure. I guess we all need to go to bed and wait until tomorrow to see what happens.
 
:p Just had a chat with csr and they asked what time I ordered. I said 12:45am, to which they replied that everyone who ordered after 12:40 are back order. Knowing this was a lie, I wanted to have a little fun so I typed, opps sorry that should have been 12:15. She then came back and said oh well it looks like it was orders after 12:10 that went to back order. Now I KNOW they are f#$@#!g with us!

I honestly don't know why they have to lie....what's worse: giving false information or telling the truth "we have no idea what the ******* is going on"
 
Don't think this is accurate. I ordered 3 phones (individual orders) through Premier. The first one was ordered right at midnight and I received confirmation just a few minutes later. The next two were ordered about 12:20AM ish and those each took a few hours to receive confirmation e-mails.

I ordered at 3:27a and received confirmation at 4:48a.

I don't buy this being the issue. Probably just to cover an even dumber reason.

Could be, but those are the times for me.

The AT&T page wouldn't even load for me until about 3:20 - 3:30. Was in and out in minutes at that point. But the confirmation email didnt show until four hours later.

I would have respected the hell out of an honest answer, but at least she gave me a good laugh. lol

Tracking my order on the premier site and my status has changed from pending to processing preorder and the cancel button is back. This doesn't seem good to me. I feel like I had a phone assigned to me and now it has been given to someone else and now I have been kicked back to the beginning with my order processing. WTH???
 
So I took to facebook to express the concern of not getting the premier orders shipped before these other orders that were placed much later. Social media manager replied back to say that they were not first come first serve and we're processed by when the payment authorizations went into the system.

Next person after me posted a similar status as mine and another rep told him that they were being processed first come first serve. They have no idea what is happening. I have had a launch day pre-order every iPhone. Feeling like this is not going to happen.

I am wondering if all us premier members can do something about ATT email plainly stating it was first come first serve when it clearly isnt. After all we have posts proving otherwise. One rep even told someone on here that it wasnt first come first serve. Seems to me that is false advertising and that we should be able to make a claim for some sort of compensation!:mad:
 
Cancelled preorder

Between going out of town, having no idea when the phone will come, and general incompetence by AT&T, I've cancelled my preorder. Ordered 10 minutes before midnight but that doesn't mean anything to AT&T's random selection. Oh well. At this point I might just hold off and get on the S cycle of phones, possibly with a new carrier. The 5 is still a good phone, and I got a new battery from Apple, so I'll manage.

Hopefully you all get your orders sooner than later, best of luck to you all. At any rate that's one more person out of the way.
 
i should have cancel my preorder and order with apple. i think 3-4 weeks from apple is going to be faster than att. my status just back to pre-order processing, and now i can finally see the cancel button

jesus, that is so not funny...lol.. The only good thing about this is hearing all the CS reps and their responses....ATT has lost me as a customer. Verizon here I come..

What makes everyone think its jus AT&T? Girlfriend's phone isnt coming any sooner and she ordered 10 minutes after me through Verizon. Same delivery date.

I use ATT for many things and they always disappoint.

I give them a lot of money and they treat people like ***** consistently.

The first come first serve statement was clearly a lie.

I'm pretty disappointed too. But this is the first hiccup I've had regarding a preorder with AT&T.

I Blame Apple more than anything. They seem to be, even though they finally manufactured them, in denial that anyone would actually want a 5.5" iPhone. They seemed to think it was a fringe product.

6s are said to be in plentiful supply.

But we don't know yet if the first come first serve is not true, its not launch day. That could only be true for tracking numbers not what really matters, our phones.....Still hope my friend...
