Hi guys,

I had preordered the iPhone 6 Plus 128 GB SG around 11:56 PM PST on Sep 11th. Like most of you, I have not received any tracking information and the status shows delivery between 10/02 and 10/13. I emailed the CEO of AT&T, Randall this afternoon and to my surprise I got a call back from his office within a couple of hours. The executive listened to what I had to say and said that they hadn't heard any complaints about the earlier orders being delayed.

I know it's late in the game now, but it would be great if a few of you could email Randall and let him know that the premier account holders haven't received tracking or shipping updates - along with the fact that the later preorders are getting priority over earlier preorders. His email id is:

randall.stephenson@att.com

If that's the case, my order was processed exactly 2 hours after I ordered. Order went through at 12:05 and the UTC time indicated 9:05.

Guys don't shoot the messenger here, but I worked at AT&T until a few months ago as a Area Manager and here's what I know...

It doesn't matter what time you ordered your phone on launch day. It goes by when your order was processed. If you remember your confirmation email should have had two PDFs attached to it. The first one I believe is around 6 pages. On the last page in the lower right (think lower right) there's a time stamp. That time stamp is in UTC here's the conversion: 6:30am UTC is 2:30am EST, 1:30am CST., etc... THAT'S what secures your number in the pre ordering que.

As of today per my sources the stock that was being pulled off of the shelves is and was processed today for overnight delieveries. So if you get your package overnighted you can thank the higher up who made that call.

Premier tracking is ALWAYS SLOW, I'd expect a lot of you (myself included) to receive tracking numbers tonight, on average it's delayed 24-36 hours.

I'm a new regular customer and I've received 3 emails from ATT. One confirmation email right after I placed the order (time stamp is 12:13am). The second came at 1:28am with my order status. The last was last night telling me that my order is still slated for 10/2. None of these have had any attachements whatsoever. Should I be worried about this?

First time poster but thought I would pass along some information I received. A friend works at a smaller AT&T corporate store in the Atlanta area and they told me they only have five 6+ in stock for sale tomorrow. And non of them are 128GB. They also told me that was the lowest stock they have seen of any iPhone in the last few launches.

Granted, not much universal information can be culled from that tidbit, but take it for what it is - AT&T might be pulling in-store stock to fulfill preorders.

Im confused. I received two emails immediately after ordering. One confirmation from att premier and the other from att and neither of them had a pdf attached. Am I missing something here?

I ordered at 3:07am EST, and according to that attached PDF, my order was "Accepted Electronically" at 4:17am EST. Kind of still gives me hope.

It should be in the first email you got from AT&T. If you're getting follow up emails without any errors or actions needed in them I wouldn't be too worried. But don't expect to get a phone tomorrow. ***My own opinion***

No attachments on any of my emails either

I only got the premiere email for each of my two orders. Nothing from main ATT.

You order thru att premiere??

No we have a small business account at my company and our business rep took my order and his assistant entered it for me. The moment I received my order confirmation it was in a "preparing for shipment" status even though I was given a mid-late November ship date:

I'm confused...I have a confirmation email, but it doesn't have a pdf attachment...it has an .html link though. It brings me to my NEXT installment agreement...

It should be on your next installment agreement on Page 3, lower right. I just checked mine and that's what it was.

People not having PDFs attached did you get 2 year contract or AT&T next?

Neither of my two confirmation emails have any attachments. What am I missing here?

The PDF should be attached if you chose the Next plan.... I think. This is what I read in an earlier thread. I didn't get a PDF because I chose the two year contract.

I saw that there are five more planes due to land in Louisville tonight between about 1230 and 1:30 AM. That gives me some hope because I'm in Indiana, and it's a 2 Hour drive from Louisville up to Indianapolis, and typically things that ship overnight can leave Indianapolis between like 6 AM and 8 AM to go out on delivery.

So if they can get those things turned around and in trucks heading up to Indy by like 3 or 4 AM, then there's a shot for me and people around here. :)

Here in Indianapolis hoping for the same thing. I've been reading MacRumors for years this is the first year I came here for more than the average post on the home page. Been reading awhile and have experienced many of the same changes in my orders you all have.

I ordered a 6+ 128 SG at 12:03pst and received my confirmation email almost exactly an hour later. I have been refreshing quite frequently tonight and as of a couple minutes ago my expected ship dates disappeared and just says "Pending Confirmation" hoping this is a good sign considering it just happened the night before launch.

You only get the PDF if you signed up for Next.

But FWIW I got the PDF and it's stamped at 11:56pm, and I still don't have tracking. So don't get your hopes up.

LOL you people are ridiculous. I'm hoping my phone is going to come tomorrow but my world isn't going to end if it doesn't, ITS. A. PHONE. I came here seeking information about shipping and all anyone is doing is bitching and complaining because their precious phone might not make it tomorrow. Emailing the CEO of At&t about your IPHONE? Really?! Really?!!

If you've been keeping up with Flight Aware, you've seen there are 5 more UPS Jets in the air landing tomorrow after midnight, eastern time.

Do you know if ATT has any more inventory coming in on those planes tonight, or is that inventoey solely for Apple Stores?

Twas the

'Twas the night before Launch, when all through ATT
not a creature was stirring, not even me.
The USB cords were hung by the chimney with care,
in hopes that St. FedEx soon would be there.

I'm not giving up hope, but all signs do not look good. Sadly since the Apple page was not loading, my only option was through AT&T. I get that there are never guarantee's with something like this, but to hear that they aren't following first come first serve protocol is crappy.

Ordered a 6+ 128 Silver at 12:01am, got emailed at 1:10am a confirmation. Date moved once to 10/2, and hasn't moved. Good luck everyone and may there be a present under your tree tomorrow!

the elusive pdfs

Your email may be just displaying it inline on the email. My confirmation order email had this as the time stamp ( at least I'm hoping that's what it is)

It's a matter of principle. If a company offers preorder for an item and clearly states 'First come first serve' then they better damn honor their end of bargain. People stayed up all night trying to make this happen and watching others receiving tracking number hours later only makes it worse. To top it off, ATT hasn't address the issue and playing the silent game, so yeah, you better bet your ass I'm going straight up the food chain to get our voices heard.

Go somewhere else for your information?

You must be new here. Don't worry about it.

LOL the guy claiming that we should have a pdf attached sounds like "just another att rep" blowing smoke up out ass. Oh well I'm going to bed. Hopefully I get a tracking number or phone tomorrow. Good luck everyone except for BCPhotog lol
