just tried the AT&T store. got there at 7:30, 5th in line. they manager came by about 5 minutes later, and said they only had 1 6+, which the guy at front of the line was going to get, so I left.

Should I cancel pre-order from ATT&T, waiting on 64 SG, ordered right around midnight, and either re-order from Apple or hope I find one in the next couple weeks, or stick it out? I actually would have preferred the Silver, but assumed SG would be the most in stock, like it usually is.

I know Apple supports AT&T Next, do the other stores? Target, Radio Shack, etc.,

Sure did! Ridiculous:mad:

No luck

So I am on the same boat as most of you, no tracking number just yet. I went to two ATT stores, both with no pluses in stock. Woke up for nothing again.

Hey guys I Am not sure if getting a pending confirmation and a order processing is normal at this stage but through the multiple times I have confirmed with att they say it is pretty standard but judging by your posts I guess I am not even close to getting my iPhone 6+ 64 GB space grey as any of you are, at this point it would be awesome enough to know if I am at least on the right track

Same config at 12:05am PDT - no ship for me :(

Wow AT&T, just wow. This is the saddest I have been in a while. It's not cause I am not getting my new toy, it's because I, like many others, waited up and got into the site early and had my orders in before launch. In fact both my emails are dated 9/11! I am so glad so many people who ordered hours and days after me are getting their devices while there is no explanation of any sort from AT&T. What integrity this company has! I am so disgusted at this ******** right now.

I've been lurking on the forum for a while and just joined yesterday. I always end up here when new stuff is coming out.

Sorry, I have nothing to share, at least no good news. I'm in the same boat as most of you. Ordered a 64GB Gold 6+ around 3:15AM launch day. Status still says preparing for shipment 10/2 - 10/13.

I just came here to vent like everyone else. I can't even order on the Apple site, since it's only letting new lines of service or new contracts. I guess I would have to cancel my preorder and try again if I wish to.

3:11am EST silver plus 128GB. No ship

Going to be an interesting day for sure. Sounds like stores aren't getting many 6+ which means ATT pulled those for preorders (good) or the supply is extremely low in general (bad for launch arrival).

If my 6+ comes today then I will chalk all this up to ATTs VERY POOR online service and heavily consider ever preordering from them again.

It will probably be an Apple preorder next time, no matter the wait.

I wish AT&T was a person whom I can go an punch..

Well, unless a shipment arrives without tracking information provided (like my iPhone 5 at launch) I'm screwed.

Ordered 2 6+ at 2:15am and 2:18am central on 9/12

After 8 years with AT&T, tmobile is looking more and more likely as my new carrier.

Nothing here yet and it sounds like ATT stores got next to no stock of 6+ either... How did all the other carriers get enough 6+ to satisfy early orders and ATT got stuck? Something doesn't add up. I would bet $ on an internal logistics issue within ATT...

Leverage it to get a free case or fee waived.

I was pulling for ATT to come through (and still am until 8pm), but I'm realistically looking to next week now.

I'll still just be as happy, at the end of the day, stuff happens...the only thing you can do is get something (from ATT) to make it worth the wait.

I believe ATT still has the highest share of iphone customers, so it makes sense that other carriers wouldn't run out as quick.

I pulled a *******'n all nighter so that I can order through apple, but guess what people without a U.S. drivers license can not order through apple so that basically eliminates international students. So I was stuck with AT&T "premier", n I ordered through AT&T that too at 3:40 am est, after a week with horrible customer care experience, way worse than I have ever seen, BTW I live in India n I thought customer care there was bad LOL, now I am not even sure will I receive a phone or not as my shipping date says pending confirmation.

I would do that except when you call to speak to a customer relations person, they claim they have not heard of anything unusual and blah blah blah. Something definitely happened and any info would have been nice.

So I want to know from those that have waited in line at att. Did they honor the order of the line or give my phone to someone at the end of the line?

Pissed off 6* SG att customer that ordered at 11:47 on the 11th

E-mail to the head honcho

So I decided to send an e-mail to Mr. Stephenson. I'm sure it will do nothing to get my phone in my hands any sooner but I also felt that I needed to express my frustration with him.

Good morning Mr. Stephenson,
As I am sure you receive countless e-mails each day I will attempt to keep this short in hopes that you have a chance to read it and perhaps respond. I am sure that you are aware of the problems associated with the pre-order regarding the iPhone 6+ but what I am unsure of is what if anything AT&T is doing to rectify the situation or at least communicate the problem(s) and solutions effectively to you customer base.

In the event that you are not aware of the problems I will outline mine for you briefly. I set my alarm to wake up at 2:45 EDT on Friday September 12th to make my way to my home office to begin the process of pre-ordering my iPhone 6+. Got through and successfully placed my order at 3:05 EDT with the confirmation e-mail arriving at 3:12 EDT. Thinking that all was well I returned to bed pleased thinking that I would receive my new device on launch day...after all that's what pre-ordering is supposed to do for you.

Later in the day on Friday I received a text message stating "Congratulations! We have processed your order 1912****** and it has been sent to our warehouse for shipment. You will be notified when your order ships. Well I am here to tell you that as I compose this e-mail at 8:20 AM EDT I have received nothing from AT&T besides faulty information while I sit and read on line forums and posts from individuals who in some cases, ordered their devices through the same AT&T channel 4-7 hours after I did will be enjoying their devices today. In these cases these individuals have been asked to supply the on line forum community with screen shots of their order status pages to verify that they do indeed have a status of shipped and also have tracking numbers which they have provided to the dismay of the others who clearly placed their orders before the "lucky" ones who somehow were moved to the front of the line.

My understanding is that pre-ordering is fulfilled on a first come first serve basis. Obviously this practice is not followed by your organization and I can tell you that your customer base is furious. If you care to look into what I am referring to please follow this link and read a few of the 3,158 posts over 127 pages of disgruntled customers.

I sincerely hope that you have a plan to rectify this situation or at least can find the common courtesy to provide valid information as to why this occurred.

Please feel free to contact me at the number below should you have any questions or would like to discuss this matter in further detail.

Regards,

Jared ********

Why did they even ask you for a drivers license? I've never had to give them one... We're you trying to finance it or signup for a new line or something that required a credit check?
