okay I am NOT wanting to burst anybody's bubble but let's put these flights in the context with the facts:

Based on the package sizing of 6.5 inches by 3.25 inches by 4 inches estimated you can only fit approx 47,000 iphone 6 plus' s in a cargo version over a Boeing 747-400.

so if Apple sold 4 million Iphone 6 total and plus was 40 percent that's 1,600,000 phones or just over 34 planes. That's pre sales in 24 hours and there is no way to tell how many iphone 6 are on the planes.

That covers day 1. We would still have to account for the rest of the pre order days retail store stock ect. It is Un believable how the volume starts adding up!

I put my order in as soon as the website would let us about 45 minutes in till we we able to make it work.

Oh no!! I'm so sorry :( it must have closed down just a few minutes ago. Ugh, try again first thing in the morning! Don't give up, AT&T's customer service is just horrendous, so as many of us that can jump ship and remove our orders from them the better.
 
Well folks I went to Best Buy tonight around 8:00 PM just to see how the plus would feel in my hand after seeing my wife's 6. In the end I canceled my 6+ sg 64gb and got a sg 128gb 6. The plus is nice but the size would make it difficult for me to use daily especially at the gym. I was able to cancel instantly from the premiers order status page and it reverse my upgrade instantly. I walked out happy today and on top of that I get the reserved promotion of $50 gift card given to you if you activate a phone at best buy this year.

This had to be the easiest conversation I've had with a rep this whole week... Why couldn't they be this on point regarding the status of our order, ship date, etc.?
 
I just checked apple.com and saw that the iPhone 6 Silver 128gb is available at the Pasadena CA location for pick up. I jumped on it only to find out you can only get it if you are renewing a 2yr contract, AT&T NEXT does not qualify for pick up, 3-4 week shipping only. Back to the wait again...

Yea? I was just about to cancel my preorder and order from apple for instore pickup but NEXT isn't eligible for in store pickup? Thank you very much btw for any info, it'll save me from canceling and being screwed.
 
Still waiting on my 64GB plus sg. My status went from 10/13 to 10/2 like a week ago and hasn't changed since.

Went to try the phone today because all of the it's huge and too big comments were worrying me. And it is sort of, for sure, yet I still think it's the one I want. So hard to tell without just using it for a bit and seeing how I adjust to it in daily life. My friends six looked perfect until he stuck a big case on it and it was gigantic and bulky. Makes me scared that I won't be able to get a case thin enough and with enough protection for the 6+ to not make it worse.

Oh well, biggest problem, is I really feel like I should have gone 128, but with this many issues getting my 64, who knows when. I really don't want to throw that wrench into it.

Checked the apple stores by me, but no dice and the no NEXT thing sucks :( sigh. Guess I'm stuck waiting for this preorder through awesome att. Long time customer and premiere status for the win!

Long time reader, first time poster. Here is my chronology of events. I hope this helps others out there who were/are in the same boat.

iPhone 6+ 128GB SG - Pre-ordered on the Premier site, 2-yr contract
11:53pm PST 9/11 - received AT&T 'Thank you for your Order' email
email states (14-21 business day wait)
12:27am PST 9/12 - received 'Recent Order Status' email
email states 10/2 - 10/13 delivery
3:27pm 9/12 - received text on phone about order being processed
4:43pm 9/12 - received text again
9/12 - 9/16 - pending transaction seen on Credit card
9/16 - delivery date slips to 10/22 - 11/?
9/18 - delivery date changes back to 10/2 - 10/13
9/19 - I contact Premier support to see when AT&T processed my order
OFFICIAL TIME: 3:30am PST 9/12 (3 1/2 hours after I received my confirmation email)
11:30pm PST 9/19 - I check AT&T Account 'My Orders' and it says 'Shipped'!!!
AT&T Premier Site Order Status still says 'Preorder Processing' with blue 'Cancel Preorder' button.

No tracking number yet. I hope I'll have one by morning.
No sign of a delivery on UPS MyChoice or FedEx Delivery Manager.
Crossing fingers it'll get here tomorrow or Monday.

So after seeing user rapidstar's post I checked mine while begging God and.... it said shipped!!!! It doesn't show a shipper yet though.

Just to let you know where I stand; I ordered at 1:57 central time, iPhone 6 plus 128gb Space Grey. I was first at the 10/31 date, then 10/13, and then 10/2. I got the 10/2 early this week, then it didn't change until 2:00am(central) today(9/20). So maybe I'll wake up to fedex beating on my door. That would be nice!

I am premier customer by the way.
 
Does anyone know if business accounts can purchase through the Apple Store? In the past we have only been able to order through att corporate stores since our account is under a business name. In other words, there is no social security number linked to account. Anyone else have an account like this?

awwww what?? nice! this gives me a little more hope. Hope to wake up to good news...
 
Dam now everybody can get it in store. And here I thought waiting 7 months to do the "next" upgrade was the smart thing to do for this launch. Dam was I so wrong, so now I am stuck with these *******s. But hey at least everybody canceling moves up my order. Keep canceling guys, you help us stranded guys out. I hope everybody gets their phone Soon!

If i hit cancel preorder will i be able to use my contract eligibility fairly quick after? I just saw my local apple store has the phone i want available for pickup and want to cancel and use it to get phone now.

Once you initially confirm the cancellation, you have to wait for an email to then click a link that takes you to a final confirmation of cancellation. Whole process took less than 2 minutes for the upgrade to reset. YMMV on the timing, of course....

I say don't worry! I was so worried for so long... but finally.. oh finally... Got that tracking number. I believe you will see it today or if not, you will still receive it before the 2nd of October. Don't cancel for sure. You got this!

I feel like a motivational speaker now that I have a tracking number... haha.
