Right now, 6 Plus' are showing as available for same day pickup in some San Diego locations. Just reserved a 64GB Space Gray myself.

Unfortunately, I tried canceling my pre order on the AT&T Premier order status page (I still had the blue cancel pre order button) and got an email confirming my choice. A few minutes later I received another email saying my cancellation was unsuccessful.

There were no operators available at their Premier customer service number (866 499-8008), and live chat is not available right now. Anybody in the same situation? I see I can refuse the shipment (I still don't have a tracking number), but I'd much rather not have my card charged twice for $900+.
 
No problem there. the only problem is that no one is there to take my calls and chat is closed so I can't even cancel until 7:00 am EDT :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

You can try again tonight (Saturday) I began seeing green check marks Pop up everywhere at 11:25 pm pacific time, may not be same tonight, but might be something you want to keep in mind. Good luck.
 
I just did this. I preordered a 6+ SG 16GB but it never shipped. The local Apple store has them available for pickup today so I cancelled the AT&T order and ordered online from Apple. Just waiting for the mall to open so that I can go and pick it up.

Did the same thing.. Decided to pay for the phone full price instead of paying through Next every month.. drops my bill a bit which is good.. Going to pick it up at 10am at the local Apple store! Good luck to everyone else!
 
More Good News For Somebody // Caveat for Cancelers

Well, I previously stated that I cancelled the Gold 64GB for my wife and picked up the 128GB iPhone 6 Gold at Best Buy. I was still waiting on my Space Gray. Unfortunately, it's still showing 10/2 as earliest ship date. I just looked on Apple's website and saw the Silver is available at a local store. I quickly cancelled my preorder and proceeded to order at Apple...and as other posters have said, NEXT is not available for pickup. :eek::eek::eek:

I paid full price for a White 6+ 64GB that I will pick up this morning. Hopefully my two cancellations will make someone else happy.

Also picking up a clear Insignia case from Best Buy for 14.99. Has a lip that protects the front, and it doesn't take away from the beauty of the device. I'll get a better case in the future, but this will help me until that happens. I wish you all well!

I don't get this?? Hmm. Now should I cancle my att order. I'll call the apple store first to confirm that they do indeed have that phone available for pickup.

They receive drop shipments? I believe that's what they are called, overnight and then stock is updated accordingly online.
 
This feels like pre-order morning/night all over again. Waiting for Att to open call center so I can cancel order then try to make sure I reserve one at store after eligibility returns. Hate this:confused:

woke up early today because I wanted to make breakfast for my girlfriend (its our anniversary). Before I started I came here to check for any developments in our situation and saw that there were none. I then hopped over to Apple.com and saw they have stock of the 64gb Space Gray 6 + today I quickly rushed over to ATT's Premier site and cancelled my order. The upgrade status restored instantly so I tried to purchase the phone through Apple again....in store pickup not available for NEXT pricing....so I bit the bullet and bought the phone at full retail....for now. When I go to pick it up later I'll "return" it and have them re-process it as NEXT. Hopefully they'll do it otherwise I just ate $900 bucks and if it did, it tasted really good lol. :D

The stores received shipments throughout the day and also overnight. If it says it's there, it's there. The reps at my store actually told us to check overnight for available units.
 
Since my premier order wasn't even close to being done (my upgrade eligibility was still as if I never placed an order and my contract date still showed the old one) I was able to cancel without a hitch. Got the email, clicked link, cancelled immediately.

Oh, I placed my order at 12:10am PST. Way to go AT&T. My neighbor placed same exact order 20 minutes after me, same model, etc, and he's enjoying his phone right now.. GO AT&T again!!

Lol pretty much what I did.. funny thing is that I didn't have a bad taste in my mouth after.. just literally went "**** it"..

Also, I don't think you can return and buy as Next.. but hopefully you can!
 
Finally received a "shipped" status and tracking number for my phone through FedEx. Arriving Monday. I'm Also a premier customer, so it looks like the clouds are breaking for the Premier orders. Don't cancel just yet!

What makes you say that? If I show up and say I changed my mind about the purchase because of the price, the phone gets returned and is back in stock at the store. My line is eligible for NEXT so unless the person is a total jerk, I don't see why they wouldn't re-sell it to me?
 
Do you think there will be any lag from canceling my preorder and restating eligibility because I am on the east coast and apple is on the west? I want to reserve a phone as soon as possible and if I cancel and then can't reserve a phone until later in the morning I'm sure I'll be screwed.

Did you order through AT&T Premier? Like are you able to go to the Premier site and check your order status? If so you can cancel online. Process took me about 5 min this morning and eligibility was updated immediately. Results may vary though.
 
what can i do if att wont let me cancel my preorder. I tryed to cancel myself but it was rejected and on the chat they arent able to cancel. I found the device at an apple store near me. This sucks

In that case I recall seeing several cases in this forum where someone was able to call in and cancel and eligibility was restored immediately. Once again though, results may vary because I've also seen posts where people were told up to 24 hours.
 
My local store has the iPhone 6 Plus available for pick up today

(NY NJ CT PA areas)

I canceled my AT&T preorder online (blue button at https://www.wireless.att.com/business/order_status )

And now i am set to pick up my 128GB iPhone 6 Plus in 2 hours! :D :eek:


Use the iPhone apple store app to check local inventory.

The rumor about 1am inventory updates was true!!!!
 
Delivery date is Monday. Urgh :( and it's coming from FT WORTH, TX.

I got emails from Fedex & AT&T this morning. I am sure all of you will get it by Monday!

Well what do you know?? Woke up this morning and checked my order. My gold 128 6+ has a shipped status arriving in NJ via FedEx on Monday. Hallelujah. Ordered Premier at 2:55 am, stuck in that 10/2-10/13 window for days. Shipping from Fort Worth, TX. YAYAYAY!!

Btw - no email notification. Checked in the regular myatt app under order status.
 
Just cancelled and ordered my SG 64gb 6+ and will be picking up in store today. AT&T is a joke.
